*Jax POV*
She was gone. She was pale and cold. The doc was doing his best to revive her. I rush to her side and grab her hand. She can't leave, we just got her back. I just got her back.

He finally brought her back but the monitor showed a very slow heart beat. I did my best to help him get the rest of the bullet out and close her wounds. She was still very pale and cold.

He gave her blood bag after blood bag till some of her color came back. She still looked dead. Her chest barely moved and her monitor was still slow. When he made sure she was stable, he moved to Rat. He had gotten all the bullet fragments out till she flatlined. Nayla was working on closing his wounds and giving him blood.

When I knew she was stable, I stepped outside to see Chibs. His face was pale and he looked like he was gonna be sick. He sat at the bar and had a stiff drink in his hand. I poured myself one and Happy soon joined us.

"She is stable. We lost her for a second but doc got her back. What happens? How was she hurt? Please tell me the man who shot her is dead." Happy chuckled a little which pissed me off more than it should have.

"Don't worry boss. I shot him but he was barely alive to shoot her and Rat. We started by blowing their entrance. Then we shot all we could to get the last explosive into their table room. This killed most of their men and their leader. They had too few to have all of their men there. A few escaped out the back after the explosion. The only one that was left was the man who shot her. He is gone now." Chibs nodded in agreement to his story.

I was slightly pissed they let some of their men get away. I settled after taking a swig of my drink. I knew if most of their men were dead, along with their president, that they would have a hard time grouping back and getting back on their feet. We have felt them a devastating blow.

"Wait. What about that Nun kid? Did anyone find him?" Chibs face turned away. Happy looked as confused as I did. I knew he hadn't taken him out by the way he shrugged.

"They knew we were coming Jacky boy but we got there before they were prepared. I found Nun beaten and dead in a side room. They must have found out about our call and killed him for his betrayal." Hi face dropped and I knew he wanted to keep him alive. If she didn't already know, this would break her.

*Rose POV*
"No! Let him go! Stop! You're killing him!" I watched them beat Nun for what seemed like hours. I watched him take his last breath over and over. I tried running to him but I was tied to the chair again. Beaten then dead. Beaten then dead. Over and over. I opened my eyes to a blinding light. I reached up but my hand was caught.

I look over to a sleeping Jax with his hand in mine. I had been moved to his room but I was still hooked up to monitors and blood bags. I felt weak and could barely move my limbs. When I tried to sit up, I winced in pain and woke Jax.

"Hey hey darling. Don't move so much. You've been asleep for two days and you are definitely not fully healed. Take your time." He brushed some hair from my face. He lifted my shirt a little and looked at my bandages.

Two days. I was in my mind, my hell, for two days. I started to cry. I was home but I felt dead inside. I knew I couldn't help him and I was honestly useless to anyone. I felt so strong and cared for till now.

Jax climbed next to me and held me while I sobbed. My stomach burned from how hard I was crying and that added more to my tears. I honestly didn't care about my wounds because they weren't the ones I wanted to be healed. Nun did so much for me, for our club, and yet died. I had to watch while someone I grew to care for died.

I cried and cried till I felt my body go limp. Tears stopped coming and my eyes grew heavy. The pain in my stomach was too much. I looked down to see my blood and when I looked back up, nomads. I was back and fighting to get free. They killed everyone and I was their dying from my bullet wound.

I fell back asleep and was trapped once again.

*Jax POV*
"DOC! Come now!" She cried so hard that her stitched were undone. She was bleeding again and quite quickly. The doc rushed in and started cleaning her wound. I carried her back to the spare room where we had all the medical stuff prepared.

I sat her on the table and the doc tried to stop the bleeding. Once the bleeding had settled, he stitched up her wound once more. After she became more stable, I took her back to the room. I laid her back in bed and covered her up. I know what it is like to be trapped in your head.

She moved some in her sleep. By now it was midnight and I stayed up to watch her sleep. The two days she was asleep before, she fought and occasionally screamed. It scared everyone to see her like this so I stay up to help calm her when I can. She steadied and went back to a calm sleep. I laid beside her and sleep soon took over me as well.

*I am sorry for a shorter chapter. I got writer's block about halfway through this one. I hope y'all still enjoy it.*
