—-Sorry for not adding in a long time. If you guys keep telling me you like it then I will do my best to keep going for y'all———
I wasn't prepared for thins. I couldn't get into the doors. I pushed so hard that once they opened, I tripped over a body. Thankfully the body was no one I knew. Then out of no where this body grabbed my ankle as I tried to walk away. I stood there, frozen. I was staring into this man's eyes and I could tell he was almost gone. I was in complete shock till I felt someone grab me.
"Save him or you'll die too." Well shit. This was definitely a bad idea. I put my hands up to show him I meant no harm. I was still in scrubs from earlier so he thought I was staff. I knelt down beside this man who was already coved in, I'm hoping, his own blood. His once seemed tan skin was turning lighter and lighter by the second. I checked his pulse and could barely feel anything. Then, nothing. I rolled him onto his back to find a massive hole in his chest. He was gone and nothing could have helped him.
"You can't help him can you? They fired two shot gun blasts into his chests. All we did was try to talk to these people and they go off killing my men! LIKE THEY'RE LIVES MEAN NOTHING!" This man was yelling bloody murder behind me. I was on my knees covered in his friends blood when I felt a gun barrel pointed at my head. I never saw anyone else but us three when I walked, well fell, in. I heard him cock his gun and I waited for the last scariest moment of my life.
BANG
I fell over with my ears ringing. I was dizzy and I couldn't feel anything. I couldn't tell if I was in shock from being shot or if I was even shot at all. Once the dizziness stopped, I turned my head slightly to see Chibs fighting then man I believed to have been standing over me. Once he was on the ground, Chibs shot him.
I still couldn't hear due to the ringing in my ears from the gun. Chibs had to come over and forcefully pick me up off the ground. He started running down the hall straight to the morgue.
"What happened here?" The ringing had stopped just in time for us to get out the back door.
"That gan had more members than before when they came to the club house. They shot at nurses and doctors. They kept yelling for us to come out of hiding. We fought them off till we one by one got away. Strangely the only ones to have guns were the one with you and the one who I guess you tried to help. When Happy shot him, it was because he had a gun drawn ready to fire at me. I tried to talk some sense into them so we didn't hurt the hospital staff in case y'all had not left yet.
I was scared to say the least. I can't believe I stumbled into a fight and almost died because they were stupid enough to challenge my men with no guns. Chibs was the only one left. He got in my car and drive off. He insisted on leaving his bike so he could take me home. He could tell I was still shook up by this whole experience.
Once back I went to check on Jax. He was sleeping calmly in his old bed. Chibs brought in a spare mattress and a few blankets the guys game up so I could sleep on the floor to monitor Jax and hopefully get some sleep. I don't know this man completely but boy am I happy I kept him alive. He really was pretty. I just watched him sleep for a little bit, making sure he wasn't having trouble breathing and possibly just to stare at him. Then laid on my bed to sleep.
I was awaken by Jax thrashing around in his bed. I hurried to his aid to see if he was having medical issues. He was just having a bad nightmare. He kept punching the bed like he was trying to fight his way out of something. I tried to lean over and wake him up but his fist collided with my eye. I yelped in pain which caused him to wake up. I will say I woke him up but chose the wrong move to do so.
What is up with these biker men and punching me in the face. I rolled my eyes even though the action hurt to do so.
"Are you okay? You worried me with all that punching." He just stared at me and once he remembered who I was his face softened.
"Yes darling. I just have nightmares sometimes of finding me wife... Sometimes I just fight my demons and I guess you. Are you okay? I know I hit you hard, I felt it." He seemed so lost in his own deep dark corner of his mind. I didn't want to make him feel worse so I just nodded my head in a yes.
I went to lay back on the ground but felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned over to see Jax rolled over his edge of his bed to look down at me.
"I know I just talked about my dead wife but could you possibly just sit up here with me? You've been the face I've seen since I woke up so you kind of bring me some peace." I got up just to sit with my back against the wall on his bed. He soon curled up in my lad and I played with the short hair he had. He went to sleep way quicker than I thought he would.
I guess I really do bring him peace. I stared down at him, again, thinking about how he kind of brings me some peace too. Something about this man made me feel whole. He was so broken and all I wanted to do was be there the mend his rough patches.
