Chapter 26 - Secret

§•Zayn's POV•§

Niall and I walk past several stores. I got Harry some bracelets. I mean, what else do you get him? Niall still hasn't picked anything. He wants it to be really special. He wants to make up for Harry having to deal with him. He's getting him a "sorry you had to deal with my shit" present.

"Zayn, what should I get him?" Niall asks me for the hundredth time.

"Niall, I don't know." I say. I've answered the same for the past 10 times.

"Oh my gosh, you're brilliant!" Niall exclaims, running over to a personalize a sweatshirt stand. Whatever. I go to follow him over, but he stops me.

"No, it's a secret, go buy me a pretzel." Niall says, pointing at a pretzel stand. I roll my eyes. I walk over and buy us each a pretzel. I wait by a bench while Niall does whatever he's doing. I munch on my pretzel, waiting for Niall to finish up.

"Ok, I got his present." Niall says, walking up to me. Finally.

"Here." I say, holding out his pretzel. He takes it and starts eating it.

"What is it?" I ask.

"A sweatshirt." Niall says.

"No shit, how'd you personalize it?" I ask.

"It's a secret." He grins.

"Fine- uh-oh." I then say. There's a group of girls standing in front of us. There's only 3 of them, but... Niall.

"Hi! I'm Abby!" The first of the girls says. She's holding a big poster, but won't let us see it.

"I'm Hannah!" The second girl says.

"I'm Presley." The last girl says.

"Um, hi." Niall says, getting uncomfortable. He can't let the fans know something's wrong, management would kill him.

"We already know what's up with you, we made you this." Abby says, holding up the poster. Both Niall and I read it.

It says, "Stay STRONG, live life HAPPILY, you'll make it THROUGH THE DARK, enjoy being ALIVE, DON'T FORGET WHERE YOU BELONG which is with all of us, and this'll result in SOMETHING GREAT. Love Abby, Hannah, and Presley. XX"

I stay silent, and watch Niall's reaction. His eyes water. Abby hands him the poster, and he hands me the poster. I smile. Niall wraps his arms around Abby, giving her a tight hug. Who knew 3 thirteen year olds could be so..., how do you say this without being a prick, so caring. Still sounded like a prick, but whatever.

"Thank you, so much." Niall says to the girls, giving the other two girls hugs as well.

"Well, we heard you were coming, and thought you'd be having Harry's party here, knew none of you had gone out to buy him anything, so we made this and came to the mall." Hannah says. I laugh a little. We are so predictable.

"We really have the best fans ever." Niall says. The girls smile widely.

"You expect us to sign something, don't you?" I ask them. They shake their heads.

"All we want is for Niall to be happy." Presley says. Niall wipes his eyes.

"You guys are so sweet." Niall says. An idea pops into my head. I lean over and whisper it into Niall's ear. He gasps.
