The next day was all the same, Todoroki left early in the morning to go home and change or whatever, then he was supposed to come back and spend the day with you. The routine was very familiar to him now, he was used to seeing you every day. It didn't seem like a bad way to spend his time anymore, he did see you as a friend now. Progress, slow progress.
He opened the front door and called out for you, but only met Miki's eyes. Usually, she was out with Sero when Todoroki was here, this was fine, though.
Todoroki: Where's L/N.
The girl smirked at him. He didn't really like her, she was too enthusiastic all the time. Who's that happy? Surely not him.
Miki: She's in bed... you might not want to see her right now though.
Todoroki: Why not?
He brought donuts this morning, he'd be damned if he didn't give one to you after all that effort. Miki looked at him sideways from where she was sitting -at the juice bar, of course- and let out a sigh.
Miki: She's not really feeling well today...
She replied, hesitant. Todoroki nodded and looked down. He wasn't going to leave, though. He still had the donut. So he went upstairs to your room as the dark-haired girl called after him weakly.
Miki: Hey-
She tried, then gave up, shrugging.
Miki: Whatever.

You were lying in bed, facing the wall, your hair in protective braids. He knocked on the door softly before entering, to which you glared.
Todoroki: You don't look sick...
Y/N: What do you want?
He was taken aback. This attitude was normal, but he figured after yesterday the two of you were... closer... maybe. He held up the brown paper bag.
Todoroki: I brought donuts.
You sat up slowly, squinting your eyes in hopes to alleviate the pain in your head. He watched you eagerly, sitting at the edge of the bed.
Y/N: What kind?
Todoroki: Jelly, glazed, regular chocolate, the one with the pink frosting, and Boston Creme.
