❛GET YOUR COAT, WE'RE GOING OUT.❜

He was getting used to the girl.

He didn't want to, the thought of it made him angry. But what reason did he have to be angry anymore? This could be over as soon as he wanted it to, he simply had to tell his father that they were lying about her quirk.

But he also knew that Jonathan would hurt her if he did that.

The evidence was all there; how scared she acted around him, the nervous cut-offs, the way she quickly changed the subject whenever it even sounded like he was going to bring up the truth about her quirk.

He wondered- doesn't she want to get rid of this situation, too? So why was she walking on pin needles around that subject?

Then Todoroki noticed the glares Jonathan gave Y/N. So he put the pieces together and decided that whatever relationship they have, it was dangerous. He'd thought it would be logical to keep the quirk thing a secret.

Y/N: You're here!

She seemed too excited, running over to him with a bright smile. He furrowed his brows at her new enthusiasm.

He walked further into the house to see that Jonathan was sitting on the couch. That explained it; he's usually not there when Todoroki comes. His gaze was unsettling, his darkened eyes boring into his, seemingly into his soul. He was watching them, maybe for the sole purpose of making sure there's a connection.

Jonathan: Hello, Todoroki.

The teen just nodded in response. One thing he knew was that he didn't want to be in this house with him. The aura was so different with the man around.

Todoroki: L/N.

She looked at him, a confused raise of an eyebrow.

Todoroki: Get your coat, we're going out.

Y/N: Where are we going?

It took her pretty long to get ready; she insisted that she did her hair and makeup, but he didn't really see a difference. Her lashes were longer than before, way thicker, too. She had lip gloss on, he could tell, and the black liner she used made her eyes more prominent. She really did have pretty eyes. Her dangly hoops fell past her chin, the gold glimmering in the sunlight. She wore a long overcoat with leggings and boots, but she refused to wear a hat because of 'hat hair'. He thought it was confusing, but all females are confusing.
