He used the cue stick to hit a solid-colored ball into the hole. Some of the guys were in the basement playing pool and other games, specifically the main characters.

He aligned his cue with a striped ball, getting ready for his turn.

The two-toned teen nodded.
Bakugo: That's fucking cliche.
He chucked the ping pong ball across the table.
Kaminari: New years?
The ball flew past Denki's head, barely missing him. Fuming, Bakugo stormed towards him.
Bakugo: OI, PAY ATTENTION IDIOT!
Kirishima: Hey man, calm down Bakubro!
He gave a sweat-dropped smile as Kaminari flinched and squealed like a girl, then returned his attention to Todoroki.
Kirishima: I think it's great you're finally getting out there, man!
Todoroki gave a nod in thanks.
Kaminari: W- wait! But are you sure you wanna do it on New Years'?
He stuttered, thinking over his words. He remembered what Y/N had said, how she was going to confess on that same day.
Kaminari: Maybe you should wait a bit, like Bakugo said, it's cliche.
He scratched his face nervously.
Todoroki: I've been waiting for too long. I need to take some initiative.
Denki sent a worried glance to his feet, not knowing what else to say.
