Part 15: Not Much Time!

The next day

Betty's pov: It's the next morning, me and Jug woke up, Jughead got Cohan up and ready while I went to the bathroom and got ready since we had our ultrasound appointment for baby number two today. After we all got done getting ready it was almost time to go so We all went out to the car, I got in the passenger seat while Jughead put Cohan in his car seat in the back then he got in the drivers seat and he drove us to the doctors office. [J] " We're here, I'll get Cohan." We both got out then he opened the back door and got Cohan out then we walked inside and check in. After we waited a bit we finally got called back. As we went into the room the doctor turned off the lights and turned on the ultrasound machine I sat down on the hospital bed and raised my shirt over my stomach, then he put the lube on and started scanning my stomach. [Dr.K] " We'll Mrs. Cooper your bump is certainly much bigger than last time." [B] " Oh wow, I didn't notice." I said shocked. [J] " So how many months is she?" He asked curiously. [Dr.K] " Well it appears that your already seven and a half months Mrs. Cooper!" He said surprised. I looked at him shocked. [B] " What, how I'm barely showing enough to be seven months!" [Dr.K] " We'll some women don't really show during pregnancy sometimes, and every pregnancy is different, so will you guys be wanting to know the sex today?" [J] " yes." Jughead said excited, then I nodded. [Dr.K] " Well Mrs. Cooper, it looks like your having a little boy congratulations!" Me and Jughead looked at each other smiling, then Jughead pointed at the tv screen with the Pictor the baby on it. [J] " Look Cohan, that's baby brother!" Cohan looked at the tv then pointed to with with Jughead. Soon after we left then went home.

Later

Betty's pov: Soon after we got home and Hermione asked if everything went okay we nodded then we told her the news. [B] " So, I'm seven and a half months pregnant and not showing very much, oh and it's a boy." Hermione looked at us smiling. [H] " Congratulations guys, and y'all better be getting prepared for the hospital you guys only got a few more months and time goes by fast." We nodded then Jughead took Cohan and went upstairs then I followed. [J] " I gotta start packing!" He said in a hurry. [B] " Jug, calm down." [J] " No I wanna be prepared for my baby boy." He sat Cohan down on the floor then he went to the closet and started packing, then I sat down on the bed and started looking up baby names. [B] " Jug, I found a name." [J] " Really what is it?" [B] " Oh,it's Grayson Thomas Jon-." Then out of nowhere Cohan stands up and and walks over to Jughead. Me and Jughead looked up at each other surprised. [B] " Did he just.?!" [J] " Um, I think he did!" [B] " Cohan come to mama." I said to him to see if he'd walk over to me. Then he got up and walked a few steps then fell, he started crying. [J] " Oh, buddy it's okay you just fell your okay." Jughead said walking over to him and trying to make him feel better. He eventually stopped crying then Jughead helped him stand up as he held on to Jughead's fingers then Jughead helped him walk over to me but before me got to me Jughead let go and Cohan walked over to me on his own." I bent down and picked him up. [B] " Good job daddy's boy!" He looked at me and smiled. [J] " Oh what name did you pick I was distracted?" [B] " Oh, I picked Grayson Thomas Jones." [J] " That's nice but, why do you always Choose Grayson?" [B] " Because I like it." [J] " But I mean there has to be a reason." [B] " Fine, it's because when I was little my mom had bought me and my sister a golden retriever, and I remember how I begged to name him Gray, and Polly wanted to name him Bob, but I wasn't having it, so I remember how we got in this huge fight, and so our mom made us comprise so we named it Gray bob Cooper. And I dunno, that name is just kinda special because it was my first dog and that was his name." [J] " I've never heard that story, but if that's the name you wanna go with, I say do it." [B] " Thank you Jug, but we'll think about it because I wanna include you too." [J] " Yea, but we went with my name last time." I rolled my eyes and smiled and he went back to packing.

A week later

Jughead's pov: It's been a week and Betty is now eight months pregnant, and we are completely ready. [B] " You've got everything ready right?" [J] "Yes, we're good we're packed don't worry." She said worried.  [B] " Okay I just wanna be sure." [J] " It's okay, everything is fine." [B] " Okay, can you go change Cohan's diaper, it's been a while since he's been changed." [J] " Yea." I got up and went Cohan's crib, he had his foot in his mouth then I picked him up and brought him over to the bed and laid him down then I grabbed a clean diaper from his bag. After I changed him I sat him on the floor and got some of his toys in the floor for him to play with. [B] " I'm gonna turn on a movie want to watch it with me?" [J] " Yea, can we watch fast and furious?" She nodded then turned it on, I got back in bed and laid beside her and put my hand on her stomach. [J] " Has he kicked yet?" [B] " Yea, like crazy." [J] " Good." [B] " I'm gonna go get some water." [J] " I'll go get it you need to rest." [B] " No it's okay." We both got up and raced each other to the door. [B] " Jug, I'm fine it's okay." I looked and her then sat back down. She walked downstairs then yelled for me. [B] " Jug!" I got up and immediately ran to her. As soon as I got to her I saw her standing in a huge puddle, so I immediately went back up and grabbed Cohan and the hospital bags and went back downstairs and went out stairs and put the bags in the car and quickly put Cohan in his car seat and left the car door open. Then I went back inside and walked Betty to the car, then I helped her in then shut her door then shut Cohan's door and got in the drivers seat and rushed to get to the hospital. [J] " Are you okay?!" [B] " Yea, I'm just having some horrible contractions." I held her hand as we drove then Cohan started crying. [J] " Calm down buddy, it's okay we have to get mommy to the hospital so we can bring baby brother home." He started screaming. [B] " He's probably hungry."  Betty opened up the diaper bag then grabbed out a small bag of gold fish and she grabbed his sippy  cup of apple juice and handed them to him. He took a sip of his juice the held out his gold fish for Betty to open. [C] " Mama open!" He said in a cranky tone. She took them from him then she opened them and then gave them back then started eating. Shortly after we got to  the hospital the we got brought back to a room and waited for the doctor.
