This is a special chapter which includes the part how Amelia and Violet became friends. It may be a bit short but this is just to show why they are this much close to each other.
Violet's POV:
I still remember that day as if it happened yesterday.
It was the first day of the first grade. Nobody knew each other very much so everyone just sat randomly. I didn't want to gain attention from anyone so I just sit at the last bench and wait for the bell to ring as it is the last lecture. All we were given today was our schedules and a notice which we have to write in our notebooks that said there will be a PTM (Parent Teacher Meeting) at the end of this month.
After I have written everything I put my pencil down and wait for the bell. As the bell rings I pack my bags and wait for everyone to leave as I was instructed by my mom to leave the class last so as to not get trampled by the other students. That is why I wait for everyone to leave.
Finally, I get up and this is when I see her. She was checking her desk to see if she hasn't forgotten anything. I go up to her and wait for her as she is my way but I don't want to seem rude or anything. Atlast when she was satisfied she gets up and we just look up at each other and shake hands saying 'Friends'. We descend the stairs together not saying anything. As I see my mom waiting for me I tell her goodbye and leave.
When I reach home, I tell my mom excitedly 'I made a friend today.'
'Very good. What's her name?' She asks me
'I don't know.' But I didn't seem to care which my mom sees so she also doesn't bother.
Now that I think about it, it was so funny I didn't even know her name and didn't care about it. We just clicked. Its been 7 years now and we are still the best of friends.

I posted this chapter suddenly because today is the birthday of Amelia like best friend in my life who has been my best friend since last 12-13 years. And I just wanted to dedicate this chapter to her.
