Picking an outfit for your date with Kakashi was kind of hard. It was hard because you hadn't been on a date in awhile, but also because you were super excited about the date.

You couldn't help it.

Kakashi had finally asked you out. For real.

Officially.

You were elated, over the moon, really.

Because, in a way, this was an unspoken confirmation of your mutual feelings for one another.

You finally decided on your favourite outfit and hairstyle. You tried not to look like you put too much effort since it made you feel desperate and also because Kakashi had(unfortunately) already seen you at your worst.

The guy had seen you in a wedding gown for crying out loud!

You finished getting ready and went downstairs to get ready to leave.

"Kids!" You yelled, walking around.

You found both Naruto and Sasuke lounging around in the living room.

Sasuke with a book in hand and Naruto scarfing down some of the ramen you'd made for breakfast.

"I'm going now." You smiled.

When they turned to look at you, they both looked surprised.

Sasuke was of course, surprised in a subtle way, but Naruto wasn't one to sugar coat things.

"Wow! You look gorgeous Mom-Sensei! Kakashi-Sensei doesn't deserve you."

Sasuke rolled his eyes at Naruto's silliness and looked up at you.

"You looked really pretty, like you always do."

You blushed with happiness.

"Awww you two." You pulled them both into a hug at your sides, with Sasuke letting out a defeated grumble.

"What's wrong Sasuke?"

He sighed and pulled away.

"I just....Do you really have to go? I don't want this to end badly for you in any way. If things don't work out between the two of you...." He trailed off. You could only smile. You weren't worried, tough you could see why he would be.

"Sasuke, I'm aware that things, especially in regards to romance, don't always work out for the best. But it's heart break that makes you grow and mature. After all I've been through, I've learned how to be careful with my heart and who I entrust it to. Even if things don't work out between Kakashi and I, he will always be my good friend and comrade."

Sasuke gave another sigh but a small, almost unnoticeable smile adorned his lips.

"Well...alright. Be safe mom."

Naruto cut into the thick atmosphere with a scoff.

"Come on, there's nothing to worry about as long as she's home by her curfew, right?" He said eyeing you.

"Woah, woah, woah. Curfew? What's that about boys?"

"A curfew is a limit to how long you can be outside of the house." You could hear the smart tone in Sasuke's voice.

"Duh. Thought you were supposed to be smart." Naruto added.

You could only roll your eyes at their antics.

"I'm an adult you two. I can come and go as I please."

"Maybe, but if you don't come back early, whose to say we won't throw a party at the house?" Sasuke said.
