"The answer is no, Hatake, and thats final!" The third said slamming his hand down a bit to show emphasis.
The silver haired Jonin ran a hand through his hair, messing it.
Why couldn't the old man just listen to him?
"Very well.Who will be joining me then?Is it another Jonin?Perhaps a Sanin?"
The Hokage let out a laugh.
"Excited are we,Kakashi?And yes its another Jonin. Although I could almost call her a Sannin."
Kakashi stumbled back on his words.
"Excuse me, Her?"
"Why yes,haven't you ever met (Y/N) (L/N)? She's in the Anbu. A very popular member I must say."
As if on que, the front door suddenly burst in to reveal a woman in an anbu uniform.
Sweat dripped down her face, however it didnt stop her from looking youthful. Her (E/C) eyes were full of mischief, she had shiny (H/C) hair, and her (S/C) skin radiated with youngevity.
She marched up to the Hokage's desk, hands tucked nicely in her pockets, and bowed.
"Ah, Miss (L/N), how nice of you to join us."
The said woman gave a nod.
"Kakashi, this will be your partner and teammate. She will help you watch over Team 7 and train them into being a great batch of Shinobi."
The Jonin gave the woman a look over, his eyes stopping particulary to peek at the curve of her butt and the particularly big bust that was well hidden by the flack jacket she wore.
He quickly looked away, realising he was staring, and instead focused on the task at hand.
"So, when do we meet the team?"
"Well I'm glad you asked. You will meet them tomorrow first thing in the morning. From there you'll begin teaching them and eventually I'll assign you your first mission."
Kakashi nodded before looking to his seemingly quiet partner who had also nodded.
He didnt understand why the Hokage had refused for him to lead a team alone. He was perfectly capable of it.
Perhaps...Perhaps the Hokage didn't trust him after he had been the cause of so many deaths...Perhaps...
"Well then, with that being said, you are both dismissed. You may return to your homes and rest for the day."
"Thank you." The (H/C) woman said as she bowed respectfully before walking towards the door.
"And Hatake."
"Hm?" The distracted Jonin replied as he came back to his senses.
"Dont mess this up."
