"We truly apologize for the inconvenience." Akiyo said to you.

A somber smile graced your lips as you patted your blanket in order to get more comfortable.

Kakashi had just finished bandaging your wound and was now sitting at your bedside, holding your hand.

Although he wasnt making it obvious, the fear that shot through him when he saw you bleeding from the wound was still cooling down.

He didn't want to show his fear infront of the kids of course, but he was scared. That was the truth.

Akira was shedding tears at this point. The poor princess felt awful that you'd been wounded.

"Awe, it's okay Princess. Please don't cry. I'm a Ninja, this is just apart of the job." You reassured her with a smile.

She looked up at you and something saddened in her eyes.

She abruptly left the room, leaving the lot of you dumbfounded.

Akiyo mumbled out an annoyed, "She can't seriously be doing this now.."

He gave a brief nod to you before going off after his sister.

Rikoji stared blankly at you. But it was as if she was speaking through her dull expression.

"You should be more careful next time." With that, she left to follow her masters.

A shudder went down your spine. She was just a bit creepy to you at times.

Kakashi kissed your hand.

"How are you feeling?"

You smiled.

"I'm okay, I promise. You could've allowed the kids in here..." A chuckle escaped your lips.

"They're quite rowdy. I didn't want them to interrupt your rest."

But you could only smile once more.

"They could never disrupt me. I adore them. It'd make me much happier to see them, actually. May you please go get them?" He sighed but gave you a brief kiss on the cheek before standing and going off to get the kids.

You sat up a bit. You were trying to adjust yourself to atleast look like what happened wasn't that big of a deal. You don't want the kiddos to worry. When they looked sad and worried about you, it made you feel so bad.

The kids, and Kakashi shuffled in.

Sakura was the first to be on you, throwing her arms around your neck and embracing you tightly.

"Mom-Sensei! We were so worried!"

"Awe, don't be. I'm fine my little flower, I promise, it's not even broken, it's just a small wound. It'll heal gradually during our journey." Your smile of reassurance gave her hope.

She knew you were strong, but she still had her doubts, just as any child would.

Naruto was next, literally going to lay on top of your legs and hug you until you nearly lost your breath.

"Im glad you're okay!! Kakashi-Sensei is literally the worst example! I couldn't even tell how bad it was because he just kept having a stoic face. Why do you like this man?"

Kakashi coughed out a correction,

"Love."

You chuckled and patted his Naruto's head.

"Alright, move over weirdos." Sasuke pushed Naruto and Sakura aside.

The raven haired boy gave you a tight hug, just as his peers had done, only, he pulled away after a bit, unlike Naruto and Sakura who had to be forced off.
