Chapter 9: Over The Years (11 Years Later)

After the Hidden Leaf search party's couldn't find y/n after one year of searching they assumed she was dead. Naruto and Hinata never told Boruto and Himawari about y/n, same with Sakura and Daisuke they haven't told Sarada about y/n.

Over the 11 years y/n is now 16, shes has grown into a beautiful, kind and strong women. She also one of the most powerful, skilled,smart, kind and fastest ninja in the whole village. She has also mastered the sage mode and others. She also mastered some other really hard jutsus she can also heal people. But she does remember a certain black haired boy (Daisuke) but she doesn't recall his name. But she has flashbacks in her dreams of them playing when she was younger and etc. she does remember that they were best friends and that the boy is really important to her.

Meanwhile Daisuke who is 16, is one of the best ninja in the whole hidden village. You could say he is the prodogy of the hidden leaf village. He is smart,fast, thinks on his feet and can use his Sharingan at anytime he needs it. But he remembers y/n even after all of these years. He has a feeling that she out there somewhere still alive. He misses her so much, he look at pictures of when they were little very often. With him recalling memories of them hanging out and playing. He remembers he was in love with her, then she disappeared. He even tried to go with Sasuke to look for y/n. When sasuke returned home for a little while and then left.
Sasuke declined Daisuke from going with him and Sakura wouldn't let Daisuke go with Sasuke.

——————DAISUKE POV————
This is what he looks like

I'm walking around the training grounds.
I remember me and y/n running around here playing hide and seek and training. A tear falls from my eyes, it's been 11 years and I still can't forget you y/n. Maybe it's because I truly still love y/n. I know for a fact y/n is still alive I just don't know where. Hopefully father can find you, I wonder how you've been or what you've been doing all of these years. I hear footsteps behind me, I sense its Shikamaru. I don't turn around, still facing away from him. I say "What is it Shikamaru?"
Shikamaru says "Naruto wants to talk to you it's something important."
I nod my head Shikamaru disappears must've been a shadow clone. I let out a sigh and look into the sky and think hopefully one day we will reunite y/n, I just hope that time is soon.
I arrive at the Hockages office I knock on the door I hear a "Come in."
I open the door and see Naruto standing looking out the big office widow to see the village view.
He says "Daisuke, I want to ask you something."
I say "Alright ask away."
He says "It's fine if you say no but, each of the hockages agreed that this year we would like to spice up the Junin exams. For the final stage just for a little something exciting and new."
I look at him confused and say "What does that have to do with me exactly?"
He looks at me and says "All of the hockages get to choose a junin that they think is worthy and the best ninja in their village to compete against the others. So if you want you would be representing the hidden leaf village and the battles will be one vs one. Then who ever wins each round goes against the other junin picked and so on. Just a something spice up the exams you know. For the final stage, we want to add something new."
I look at him to see that he's serious I sigh and say "Alright."
He looks at me with concern on his face.
He walks me over to the couch in his office.
He looks at me and says "What's wrong?"
I look at my lap let out a deep sigh. I look up at Naruto with a tear going down my cheek.
I say "Naruto I can't forget her, I've tried I just know she's out there still alive and well. I miss her she's the love of my life even after all of these years."
I see that he has tears leaving his eyes. He brings me into a hug, we let out our tears. We pull away from the hug, he wipes his tears away.
He says "Daisuke I understand that you miss Y/n. Not a day goes by that I don't think of y/n I miss her. But your not the only one that thinks she's still alive. But I have a feeling we will see her soon. We have to be brave for her alright."
I nod my head and I say "Alright, and Naruto I'll represent the Hidden Leaf it'll be my honor.
Also thank you for letting me talk to you about her. I don't know who else to talk to about her."
Naruto put a hand on my shoulder and says "It's alright, I'm always here for you don't forget that alright."
I nod my head with that I leave and head home. I walk into the house and say "I'm home."
I see a pair of black shoes on the welcome mat where we put our shoes. Leaning against the wall is a sword. It hit me dads back, I'm greeted by mom tackling me into a hug. She tells me that dad arrived a little while ago. I walk in to see dad sitting on the couch next to Sarada telling her about his adventures while he was gone. I huff mom knows that I'm still angry at him for not letting me go with him to look for y/n. Sarada looks and sees me she brings me into a hug. I see dad look at me happy to see me. I see how late it is and say "Sarada why don't you get ready to go to bed."
She glances at dad and he nods his head in agreement. She huffs and leaves the room to get ready. I look at him with a blank face and say " Why are you here dad?"
He says "I'm here to see you and Sarada compete in the junin exams. I want to see how my son does representing the hidden leaf village."
I growl and look away, I say "Let me guess then you'll leave after?"
Mom says "Daisuke don't talk to your father like that!"
I say "I'm going to bed."
Mom says "Without dinner?"
I nod my head and leave the room in silence.

—MEANWHILE WITH Y/N POV—
(What Y/n looks like, y/n has the same hairstyle in the picture except she has long straight black hair)
(What she is wearing is her ninja outfit)

I just got done talking with Garra about me joining the junin as a representative of the sand village on the final Stage. I have a feeling something or someone there will help me remember my past. I just know it, I go to my room and sit on my bed.

I think to myself "Why have I been having flashback of me and that boy? I've been having so many flash backs or memories of younger me and the boy."
I tried asking Garra what it means, he says
" Your probably seeing your soulmate. If you see memories of him constantly even from over 11 years ago."
I just wonder who that boy is and if he really is my soulmate. I have a feeling he is my soulmate. I change into my pj's, brush my teeth and get into bed. Then I fall asleep, and let the slumber take over.

—————SASUKE POV————
After Daisuke leaves the room, Sakura says "He shouldn't talk to you like that you know."
I say "He has every right to, I declined to take him with me. Even though he was capable to go with me. I still said no without reason."
Sakura says "Hopefully the exams will help him forget about everything."
I nod my head and say "I hope so Naruto told how he's been since I left. I don't blame him for how he feels."
Sakura says "Let's go to bed it's late."
I nod my head and we get into bed and go to sleep.

Ok so if you guys got confused with the village  representatives. Here's how it works each Hockage will choose who they think is the best and strongest junin in their village.
But they must be 15-20 years of age.
So anyway what'll happen is they will have them fight in the final stage.
After the Chunin fights are over.
Then they begin the village representatives fights.
