Part 1

Reader POV.

To say I was nervous would be the understatement of the century. Recently I had been contacted by Marvel to sign on to be a part of the visual effects team on a few projects. They wouldn't give me much details of the jobs but it's Marvel so regardless of what it was I was nervous.

I drive to the studio getting stopped by security.

"Ah Ms. Y/l/n we have been expecting you. If you drive down the end of this road and turn left there will be a spot with your name on it. Someone will meet you there." The guy says as he waves me through.

"Thank you so much." I say repeating the directions in my head so I don't forget. I quickly find the spot and pull into it. I grab my phone and keys before stepping out.

"Ms. Y/l/n. Welcome to marvel studios, if you would please follow me. You arrived just in time for the creative meeting." A young perky woman says.

"Please just call me y/n." I say smiling, quickly following behind her.

"Alright y/n. Right this way."

We quickly head through a maze of hallways to get to a conference room. "Here we are, there will be a spot with your name on it."

"Thank you." I say before heading inside.

I take a deep breath before opening the door, inside there is a mix of 15 people all sitting in spots. I notice a spot with my name on it and quickly take a seat. I look around and see a few names I recognize but notice 4 spots don't have names.

Everyone sits in silence, not sure what to do or say. Finally someone opens the door, in walks Kevin Feige followed by Paul Bettany, Kathryn Hahn and Elizabeth Olsen.

Holy shit. My mind immediately goes blank seeing her. I mean it's Elizabeth Olsen how could it not. I realize I have missed something when everyone around me starts clapping. I'm a bit confused but join in.

"WandaVison has been a brain child of mine for awhile and I'm very excited to have it come to life!" Feige says.

Ahh so that's the name of the project. I think to myself.

"So as some of you can see we have a few new faces in the room. Kathryn Hahn will be joining us to play Agatha. Matt Shakman will be our director and Y/n Y/l/n will be joining us as a lead in the visual effects department." He says, everyone looks over to me. I smile and nod.

I start to look down but Elizabeth and I lock eyes. She gives me a quick smile before she turns back to listen to Feige continue.

The rest of the meeting goes well, we discuss the storyline and overall vision for the project. As the meeting wraps up Feige calls me over.

"Y/n this is Elizabeth Olsen, you two will be working closely together. Y/n will be lead on Wanda's magic and the hex." He says introducing us.

"Well it's very nice to meet you." Elizabeth says extending her hand.

"It's nice to meet you too, I'm a big fan of your work." I blurt out.

Elizabeth chuckles at this, god her laugh is contagious. I think smiling at me.

"Well I better get going, I have a lot of lines to work before tomorrow. See you tomorrow y/n." Elizabeth says smiling.

"See you tomorrow Elizabeth." I say as I give an awkward wave.

"Please just call me Lizzie." She said before walking away.

"Okay Lizzie." I say to myself before turning to find my office.

POV switch

Lizzie quickly heads over to Kathryn Hahn's room not even knocking before I walk in.

"Hi sweetie, what's up?" Kathryn says looking over at Lizzie.

"You said you know y/n l/n right?" Lizzie says quickly, feeling a bit nervous.

"A bit why?" Kathryn says, looking at her confused.

"Tell me everything you know about her." Lizzie says seriously.

"Okay, might as well sit down and get yourself comfortable." Kathryn says motioning me to her sofa.

Lizzie quickly sits and looks for her to continue.

"I first met y/n when I was working on Spider-Man into the spider-verse. She was contracted for some of the animations for it." Kathryn says.

"Oh wow, the animation in that movie was very impressive." Lizzie says slowly nodding her head.

"Yes it was, I'm not sure what pieces she specifically worked on but I know she was on the team. Let's see, what else do I know. Oh! She has an adorable dog that she hikes with. Also you know that piece in my living room that you love?" Kathryn says looking at Lizzie.

"Yeah that waterfall painting?" Lizzie says.

"That's all Y/n." Kathryn states smiling.

"Wait she paints?!" Lizzie says a bit excited.

"Oh yeah, I think she only picked up visual effects and animation to help pay the bills." Kathryn says honestly.

"Interesting, do you have pictures of any of her other works?" Lizzie says a bit hopeful.

"Dear, she has a whole website." Kathryn says taking out her phone and handing it to Lizzie. "Look, she has a new exhibit opening tonight at a studio in town." Kathryn points out.

"Hey Kathryn. Do you have any plans tonight?" Lizzie asked, smirking.

"I do now." Kathryn smiles back.
