Part 16

Y/n stirred awake noticing the bed is empty next to her. Y/n quickly changed into some sweats and headed to the living room.

"Hi babygirl, how are you feeling?" Lizzie askes standing up and resting her hand on y/n's forehead to check her temp.

"Not too great" Y/n says before falling back down on the couch.

"I'm sorry baby, how about we get you something to eat. What are you hungry for?" Lizzie asks.

"I'm not hungry." Y/n says covering their head with a pillow.

Scarlett quickly takes note of this and goes to turn off the lights.

"Okay, but can you try and eat something later?" Lizzie asks, knowing they need to keep y/n fed.

"Sure, can I just have some cuddles please?" Y/n gets out blushing a bit. Even though she isn't little she still wants physical contact.

"Of course, you can always get cuddles." Lizzie says joining y/n on the couch.

"Scarlett too?" Y/n gets out a bit hopeful.

"Always sweetheart." Scarlett says, cuddling into y/n.

The three cuddle on the sofa as Lizzie starts to play some of the old classic movies on Disney plus.

"Liz please I'm not little right now." Y/n argues a bit.

"I know you aren't little right now but these are still some of your favorite movies, don't lie y/n." Lizzie counters.

Only earning a whine from y/n as she tucks her head into Scarletts neck.

After a few minutes y/n untucks her head a bit so she can see the screen but leaves her head on Scarletts shoulder.

"Hey babygirl, you know that conversation we had about Scarlett being apart of this relationship?" Lizzie asks.

Y/n's cheeks turn bright red but she nods.

"Well we chatted a bit last night and if you still want it I think Scarlett might as well." Lizzie says smiling. Y/n takes her head of Scarletts shoulder and looks up at her.

"Wait really?" y/n says a bit shocked.

Scarlett nods, kissing y/n check.

"You really will be my mama?" y/n asks, feeling herself start to slip a bit.

"Of course y/n. There is nothing I wouldn't do for you or Lizzie." Scarlett says kissing the top of y/n's head.

Y/n immediately crawls on top of Scarlett and puts her head back in her neck. Scarlett wraps her arms around y/n protectively.

Scarlett notices a few tears falling onto her neck. "Hey, it's okay little one. I've got you. Mama's got you." Scarlett whispers while continuing to rub y/n's back.

After a few minutes Scarlett is sure y/n is asleep in her arms until she hears a small "Thank chu mama" get whispered into her neck.

"Of course babygirl." Scarlett says smiling.

Y/n quickly falls asleep still tucked protectively in Scarlett's arms.

As the pair continues to cuddle on the sofa Lizzie decides to start making some soup in the kitchen. Even though y/n isn't hungry they need to make sure she is still eating and soup seems like the easiest option at the moment.

Suddenly y/n sits up on Scarlett and starts coughing again. Lizzie quickly notices and grabs a glass of water as Scarlett tries to help y/n's breathing settle.

"Just follow my breathing baby, we got you. We're right here." Lizzie says.

"In.."

"Out.."

"In.."

"Out.."

Y/n following her breathing, thankfully catching her breath.

"Hey sweetheart can you take a really big deep breath for me?" Scarlett asks.

Y/n nods taking a big breath in and out.

Both mom's pause when they hear a crackling in her breath.

"Good job, thank you baby." Scarlett says pulling y/n back down into her lap.

"I'm going to call the doctor." Lizzie says quickly, grabbing her phone.

"Mama?" Y/n asks quietly.

"Yes babgirl?"

"Baba?" Y/n asks.

"Okay, milk or juice?" Scarlett asks standing up and moving y/n to one hip.

"Hmm ilk pwease?" Y/n says cuddling into Scarlett more.

"Okay baby, just give me one second." Scarlett says walking around the kitchen getting a bottle ready.

"Mmmk" Y/n gets out sleepily.

Scarlett finishes getting a bottle ready before heading to the sofa to sit back down. Y/n quickly untucks herself from Scarlett's neck and lays across her lap.

Scarlett smiles at the eagerness of y/n before resituating a bit to get y/n's head in her elbow to help support it.

"There we go." Scarlett says as she grabs the bottle.

Y/n smiles before quickly taking the bottle. Y/n's eyes start to drift shut causing her to loose grip of the bottle. Y/n whines a bit but before it falls out Scarlett quickly catches it and holds it for her little.

"It's okay." Scarlett says looking as y/n's face relaxes again.

Y/n ends up quickly falling asleep so Scarlett takes the bottle out to save the rest for later. Scarlett leans down and kisses y/n's forehead and whispers a soft "sweet dreams."

Finally Lizzie comes out from the bedroom looking a bit frantic. Scarlett quickly readjusts to stand up leaving y/n asleep on the sofa.

"Hey what is going on?" Scarlett askes.

"It's nothing... well it's not nothing. We have to go get y/n's lungs scanned to make sure she can breathe alright and is getting enough oxygen." Lizzie explains.

"Okay, when do we go?" Scarlett asks.

"Umm now." Lizzie says quickly collecting anything she thinks they could need.

"Okay, umm y/n is little right now. Do you want to try to get her out of her headspace or should I?" Scarlett asks.

"No, it's fine. This doctor is a family friend so I filled her in on our situation. We are just going to her private practice so no one else will be around." Lizzie explains.

"That's perfect, I'll pack up a small bag. You go get y/n." Scarlett says.

"Okay." Lizzie says.

Lizzie quickly heads over to y/n and brushes the hair out of her face.

"Okay babygirl, you don't have to wake up but I am going to move you to the car. We got to take you to go see my friend to make sure you are okay. Sound good?" Lizzie asks.

Only getting a small hum from y/n.

With that Lizzie starts to pick up. Y/n quickly adjusts in Lizzies arms before humming again. Lizzie smiles as she carries her out to the car.

Lizzie gets y/n all buckled into the back seat before going to the front seat to start the car.

After a few minutes Scarlett runs out to the car with a backpack and a few bottles and stuffies in her hand.

"Smart ideas with the bottles and stuffed animals." Lizzie says.

"I'm always prepared." Scarlett says smiling, looking back to see y/n still asleep.

"Ready?" Lizzie asks a bit nervously.

"Yeah, let's get this over with." Scarlett says as they start to drive away.
