Later that night Lizzie gets a text from the doctor letting her know she was negative for covid. Thankfully y/n receives the same text a few hours later.

The pair stick to the same routine that day, opting for movies and cuddles. And boy oh boy did y/n like to cuddle in this headspace. She was always trying to sit on lizzies lap, cuddling her head into lizzies neck. Surrounding y/n with the smell of her Mommy that she had already adapted to.

Lizzie found herself loving the simple routine. Cuddling, feeding, bathing and changing all became second nature to her. Caregiving was easy for Lizzie and with y/n it just felt right.

Lizzie couldn't deny the way her stomach fluttered when y/n would call her mommy. Or how content she felt holding y/n protectively in her lap. Plus, her heart soared when y/n's pacifier dropped from her mouth that night and y/n suckled on lizzies collarbone instead.

"Good morning sweetheart." Lizzie says, kissing the top of y/n head.

"Mommy" y/n gets out, yawning a bit.

"Yes baby?" Lizzie says, looking down at y/n.

"Wet" y/n whispered, tucking her head back into lizzies neck.

"Thanks for telling Mommy, let's go get you changed." Lizzie says, sitting up carrying y/n with her to the bathroom.

Lizzie makes quick work of the diaper, having perfected it over the last couple days. She quickly washes up before lifting y/n and carrying her to the kitchen.

"What does my baby want for breakfast this morning?" Lizzie asks cheerfully, trying to set y/n down on the counter.

"Milk" y/n mumbles out keeping a close hold on her mommy.

Y/n knew she was slipping into a bit of a younger headspace but how could she not. She finally had a caregiver who looks after her and makes her feel loved.

"Okay" Lizzie says, trying not to sound too shocked. "In a sippy or bottle?"

"Bottle." Y/n gets out sleepily, not really thinking about it.

"Alright." Lizzie says going to grab the milk. Quickly filling up the bottle before heating it up in the microwave, all while balancing y/n on her hip.

Once it's warmed a bit Lizzie grabs it and heads over to the couch. Lizzie hesitates for a moment unsure of how to hold y/n.

Y/n relaxes and ends up laying across Lizzie, placing her head in Lizzie elbow. Lizzie slowly brings the bottle up to y/n lips. "Come on babygirl, you gotta drink." Lizzie says bouncing y/n a bit to wake her up.

Y/n notices the bottle and quickly latches on, looking up shyly at Lizzie as she does. Y/n notices lizzies eyes are filled with love and care easing her embarrassment.

Lizzie smiles down at y/n. Noticing y/n is trying to smile a bit around the bottle. "I've got you babygirl." She whispers.

Y/n responses by nestling her head more into Lizzie, relaxing more into her touch.

Y/n suckling gets slower and slower on the bottle until finally it stops. Lizzie looks down and sees y/n is out like a light. Lizzie slowly takes the bottle from her mouth replacing it with her pacifier. Allowing y/n to sleep a bit longer before starting the day.

The rest of the morning is filled with movies and cuddles. Finally after lunch Lizzie could tell y/n was starting to feel better. She had a lot more energy and even wanted to spend most of her time coloring. Y/n has insisted that Lizzie color with her, which she quickly gave in coloring in the coloring book next to y/n.
