Conditions Apply.,

  Conditions!!!  What it could be?? Why was he interested in my research when other companies were quite hesitant???? why???

Questions flashes through my mind like lightning , I tried my best to calm my curiosity and listen to what he say....

Rayan: Though Trevor group of
             companies run for more
             than 25years, its my father
             who own it.My dream was
             to start my own one. So, I
             wish to recruit you to my
             own company which is
             just a start up. This is my
            first condition. Are you
            okay with it?

I thought for a second and said...

       "Yes! Sir, I'm ok with it."

He doesn't seem to be surprised by my answer and started to say about his second condition.....

Rayan: The company is situated
               in Mackrel* and it's just
              an start up so we don't
              have branches. Therefore
              you have to work by
              boarding in Mackrel. Is it
              ok for you to stay and
              work in abroad.

This time it's really hard to answer, because my mom was more hesitant to sent me even to Mumbai, How could she allow me  to work in abroad. My mind was full of such thoughts and forgot that I'm in an interview hall. After sometime I made my mind and agreed for the second condition too....(But not whole heartedly)

This time too he was not seemed to be surprised and looks sharp through my eyes and asked...

Rayan: Then, my third and final
               condition is that after
               finishing the research you
               have to sell  it
               to the company. This
               was my most important
               condition and if you are  
               ok with it  we can sign our
                work contract.

This time I'm totally blank and speechless,  because I've never thought to commercialize my work and want everyone to use it as per their convenience. But now.......

My thoughts wavered. I remained silent for a quite long time. Seeing my silence, he asked...

Rayan: Is is good to leave the
              research incomplete and
              useless or better complete
              it and get the value it
              deserves?

Though I was not completely convinced, his words seem to be logical and acceptable. So I said with a smile....

Tanya: "Fine , I'll accept all your
                 conditions!"

      
But this time his eyes shone with surprise which he tried not to show off. Then he asked me to  meet him tomorrow at 11AM in  campus to discuss about the job and other related issues.

Then I thanked him and came out of the room.

   That evening I reached my home and as soon as I entered inside, I could see how everyone was curious about my interview.

I told them that I got a job which will sponsor for my research and also they will recruit me as an permanent employee.

   They were really happy to hear it but when I said that I have to stay in Mackrel for the work, the smile in their faces  started to fade.....
