Hearing those words, I could understand why she is behaving in such a way. But then I said calmly, If you want to deal with Rayan you should deal with him and not me. Saying those words I just pulled back my files and walked away.
I saw Lawrence working with meeting files, I joined with him and we finished the work by 9pm. We together submitted the meeting files to Mr. Rayan. He went through them thoroughly and asked us to stay over night to complete the entire database as the meeting scheduled for next week was preponed to day after tomorrow. I was literally exhausted from the days work. But I have no option.
Rayan, Lawrence, Daniel and me we all worked till 4am and completed the work perfectly. Everyone was extremely tired. Daniel slept on the counch in the CEO's cabin. Lawrence, abide bye to us saying that he need a leave for half day. I can't take leave like Lawrence because I have an Group discussion with other researchers and also need to monitor my junior researcher. I just said I'll be back after refreshing and went near the door. Suddenly, I can't get a hold of myself and was about fell down. But I was caught by Mr. Rayan. He hold me tightly close to him and said I'll drive you home. I tried to straighten myself and said it's fine, I'll take a cab. And also asked him to stop holding me.
He just laughed and said.....
Rayan: I took my hands long ago. But you are the one who's still holding my coat.

I took my hand fastly and just tried to remain silent, but my face turned completely red. Seeing my face he smiled looking at me for a long time.

He asked me to wait in parking lot. I said that I could go home by myself. He doesn't listen to them and walked off. He then drove me home. After reaching home I thanked him for the ride and came out of the car. He dropped the window and asked me to come to office by afternoon as the group discussion was scheduled after the lunch. I thanked him again and went inside. After closing the door of the house, I threw my bag to one corner and slept on the counch like a pig.
In Rayan's home........
After refreshing, he lied on the couch thinking about what happened in his cabin. Without knowing himself he started to smile and rolled down the floor hurting his back. Then stood up keeping an hand over his back and again slept over the couch smiling.
About 8am, he woke up by hearing a call from Daniel. He attended the call in a sleepy way, saying.....
Rayan: Yes, Rayan Trevor here😴.
Daniel: 📞 Rayan open the door. I'm at your entrance.
Rayan opened the door asking the Daniel to enter inside.
Seeing Rayan's typical walk, Daniel asked him laughing....
Daniel: what's wrong with your walk?
Rayan chided him saying it's nothing.
Daniel: Hey, Ray!! I with you for more than 15 years. Stop lieing.
(Note: Daniel and Rayan were friends since high school days. Even after moving to London, Rayan use to stay in Daniel's home on vacations as he doesn't want to stay in his home. Rayan still thinks that his father is responsible for his mom's death.)
Finally Rayan accepted that he fell from the couch. Hearing it Daniel burst out laughing.
Rayan: Hope you finish teasing me.
Daniel: I don't think that I'm finished yet.
Rayan: what do you mean??
Daniel: I saw your another face in your cabin holding Tanya.
(Rayan sighed heavily, then said with an hesitant face...)
Rayan: Aaha!! I forgot that you were sleeping on my cabin's counch. But there's nothing as you think. I just holded her as she was about to fell down.
Daniel: I believe what ever you say but what's with those expressions on your face. I've never seen you so happy. Not only that, but nowadays you seem to have good sleep too. As suffered from insomnia and nightmares after losing your mom.
