My New Lab

I reached the office and quite confused to see that the 16 floor building has nearly 10 different types of companies. I'm literally confused and stared at the entrance. After sometime Daniel came by my way and asked me to follow his lead.

On the way he told me about the company's directions. According to him, our Rayan group of company has rented three floors in this building. The 1st floor has the lab, 3rd floor has office management and finance area and 7th floor has the CEO's room and board meeting hall.

I was taken to the CEO's room in the 7th floor and Daniel abide me bye and went off.

I knocked the door, and he asked me to come in. I got inside and saw him reading. Then I thanked him for approving my research. He just smiled and asked me to follow him.

He took me to the lab and asked me to look everything carefully and make a note of things that are lacking for my research.

I entered inside the lab and checked each and every counter , stock availability, temperature maintainer, Humidity and Pressure controller and finally the exhaust pump and Exit door ways. Everything was perfect and neatly arranged. But the entire lab was silent and empty without any human breath.

I asked him the reason, for which he told me that this was the first research and based on its success, he will think about investing in other research works.

I was quite surprised, If this was his first investment in this field then he should invest in some notable person, But why does he chose me . Thoughts run through my mind like flashes.

Suddenly a women in quite neat uniform came inside the room and Mr. Trevor introduced her as my lab gofer, named Sara who will be helping me with lab and office works.

I welcomed her with an hearty smile. She too smiled and said that she will help me with all the ways she can.

After strolling around the lab, Mr.Trevor asked me to start my research work by today and send him a complete schedule of research by evening. He also asked me to submit an report weekly about the research progress. After saying , he went back to his room, without waiting for my reply.

I felt quite dejected, but never let that to take my cheer. I started my research with full enthusiasm.
I worked with full concentration that I forgot to have my lunch. By evening I slightly felt hungry, so I asked Sara about the cafeteria. She told me that 5th floor has an good restaurant, so we went there and had sandwiches.

I apologized for forgetting about her lunch break. But she was quite calm and replied me that she was actually happy to see me working with full energy and doesn't want that to be disturbed.I thanked her and asked her to remind me about the lunch breaks and other office related important appointments which I usually forget after involving completely in research.

She has such a sweet character, that she assured me with an smile. After having our sandwiches, we went back to the lab and continued the research work.

That evening after completing that days work, I went up to CEO room and submitted my research schedule and told him that my research will be completed in 3 months. He looked through the schedule carefully and nodded his head in approval.

He then asked me to work in accordance with the schedule and seemed to be quite pleased with it.

While Mr. Trevor was asking me some basic concerns about the work, our conversation was disturbed by sudden appearance of Mr. Andrew from nowhere.

Seeing me in the room, he smiled and came near me and said he was happy to see me back. I was just remained about the incident that happened back. Straightened myself and just smiled.

Trevor seemed to be annoyed and asked him to knock the door before entering.

But Andrew doesn't seemed to be surprised, he said he doesn't want any permission to enter into his best friend's cabin.

Suddenly Mr. Andrew, handed a letter to Mr. Trevor, saying that he was resigning from his job......
