My work continued as usual. Group discussions were done and lab works also went quite good. By evening an meeting was arranged with my junior researchers. We discussed about our plan and schedule for next month. I also posted out the work to be done by each researcher and asked them to do their work with full dedication. After the meeting, everyone left the room, I packed my stuff to get back to the lab. But then, I was suddenly stopped by presence of Mr. Daniel near the door.
I just smiled and asked him, anything important. He smiled back and handed some files to me saying.....
Daniel: Mr.Rayan asked you to go through these files and get prepared for the next week's meeting.
After Daniel left, I took those files to my table and read them thoroughly. Its regarding our company's new project and it's collaboration with an multinational manufacturing company.
Its usual that we often attend company meeting together, but this time it's different. Before I use to assist him in his meetings because he doesn't have an perfect secretary but now he has one. But he still asked me to go through these files.
After Andrew left, Rayan often requires some help as he cannot do all the works by himself. So, he asked me to assist him at times. Therefore, I use to help him in arranging the files regarding the meetings, planning his regular schedule, arranging the meeting hall etc. At beginning I use to do some mistakes and he would get annoyed, sometimes he even shouted at me for not doing the work perfectly, As he requires everything with absolute perfection. Its really hard to hear them at first, but it really changed my way of doing work gradually. We even work till late night fighting with documents and files. Its quite tough to balance, both my research work along with office management. I even told him about it. He asked me to continue my work until new secretary comes.
Later he appointed, Mr. Lawrence to the post of his secretary.

I went to Rayan's cabin and asked him why he wants me to take care of meetings. He was completely immersed in the computer and said without even looking at me.....
Rayan: Mr. Lawrence is my operational secretary and you are my executive secretary. So, he'll arrange the meetings and you need to execute the meetings perfectly. You're new station will be available by tomorrow along with Mr. Lawrence's station.

Rayan: That's why I've recruited Mr. Lawrence. From now on he'll be taking care of half of your duty. You just need to focus on your research and execute those meeting arrangements with Mr. Lawrence.
