I went inside to see Rayan, Daniel and Lawrence standing with an serious face. I asked them anything serious. Lawrence narrated me the incident.

Lawrence: There was an huge fire accident in the factory of multinational manufacturing company (Trevor Group of companies) that we had tie up recently.

I was really shocked to hear it. Because we need our raw materials to be handed over by next month end. Or else its an great loss to both the Companies. I asked them,

Tanya: Does the smaller one or the larger one which has the main manufacturing unit got damaged.

Daniel: For god sake, the smaller one got fired.

It's an quite relief that we still have hope. But Rayan stood silent. Then we four visited the spot of accident, that night. Its quite far,so it took really 2hours to reach the spot.

The fire over the place were settled down and only the ashes remain. There were press and police investigation teams all over. Rayan and I started to look around the place. Daniel and Lawrence went to console Mr. Mark. I asked Rayan to meet his father but he just turned a deaf ear to my words. After sometime, I forced him to speak to Mr. Mark not as a son but as an business partner as it's not the right time to show his anger. Then finally he went with an poker face to speak with Mr. Mark. I continued my examination with the multinational company's research team whom I know earlier through the group discussions. We continued our investigations by separating us into pairs. I was paired with Mr. Mathew, Chief scientific officer of Trevor group of companies. We searched for a long time but suddenly he left me alone saying that he need to attend a call. So, I was searching all alone and finally came to an conclusion by seeing the temperature regulator, in the burnt spot. It was half burnt but it clearly shows the temperature lastly set. I called Mr. Rayan and told him that I found something. Mr. Mark who was standing next to him asked me to explain it louder. I saw Mr. Rayan for a moment and he nodded his head in approval. So, I explained them.....

Tanya: According to this burnt temperature regulator , the accident was due to wrong temperature setting. Everyday the lab gofer or the researcher in the lab need to regulate it periodically. But sometimes we forget to do so. And eventually the temperature regulator sets its own temperature according to the climate.

Mark: So, You are saying that all this happened just because of carelessness of my researchers

(His voice was rough as if he was about to hit me)

I took a step back as I was quite scared by his sudden rise in voice. Rayan came forward and was about to say something to Mr. Mark but before, I started to speak by saying...

Tanya: Sir, please let me finish first. The last set temperature in the temp.regulator was 1200K. Its not an usual one. I'm sure someone who knows well about the lab condition and also its function must have done it.

Mark twisted his eye brows and asked me,

Mark: How come you're so sure?

Tanya: Let me explain you sir,
Normally even if the temperature regulator was not checked periodically, the maximum temperature it naturally records in this climate is 820K. If it's above 820K, then someone must have manually set it. But it's tough as it gives an warning siren for such high temperature. So the person who had did this must have known well about the lab instruments and also he's quite familiar with this place as he know when all the workers leaves the place. So that no one is harmed at the same time the high temperature siren could also be ignored.

As I finished my explanation, I was about to give an statement to the police who were investigating, but I was suddenly stopped by Mr. Mark. He told me not to inform them about the manual setting of temperature and also asked me to say them that it all happened because of negligence. But I was quite hesitant. He told me that it'll become tough to claim insurance if it was an planned out accident. He also asks the other researchers of his company to say the same and they said the same in police investigation. I felt that quite suspicious. But Rayan took me away from them and said...
