On saying Andrew's name, Rayan called him to our office to speak. He asked Daniel to stay and rest of us to leave. Though Eric was quite hesitant to leave , but he gently agreed to it and patted Rayan's shoulder saying,
Eric: You doesn't need to do everything by yourself. So, just call me as you need. Don't hesitate.
Saying them, Eric left. Lawrence left with him. I turned around to see Rayan, for a moment just before leaving the room. He looked tensed mixed with anger.

I've never seen him like this. As he always remained cool and calm. I just waved my hand to Daniel and left the place.
I went straight to the lab just to check everything was fine and arranged some files for tomorrow's work, As past few days I've spent completely in office. After arranging them, I left the place and started to walk towards the subway station. But It suddenly started to rain. I kept my hand bag over my head and started to run. But then suddenly, a hand pulled me back. I turned around to see Eric. He asked me to get inside his car. I was hesitant, but then he told me that Rayan asked him to drop me. He opened his car door and I have no way but then just to enter inside the car. He asked me my address and I told him. He started to drive. Then he saw me, that I was quite uncomfortable and asked me to feel free. He then asked me about my research and current thesis. Which I just love to talk even for hours. I explained him with enthusiasm.
He then smiled and asked....
Eric: On hearing you, I could understand you are a perfect chemist. But are you ok on being an Secretary?
I told him that it was quite tough at first but Rayan helped me to improve myself.
He continued his driving and said.....
Eric: Its quite astonishing.
I asked him why out of curiosity.
Then he said.....
Eric: He always wants his work to be perfect. And never trust anyone so easily. But he trusted you.
I felt quite awkward and doesn't know how to react at the same time My mind was full of queris about Rayan that urged me to ask Eric, but I tried hard to control them. But, Eric just smiled and said stop asking questions.
I replied him that I've not even opened my mouth. For which he chuckled and said that, I'm asking him through my eyes. I smiled sheepishly and put my head down. Seeing me, he smiled softly and said....
Eric: Though Rayan was Calm and controlled all the time, he was actually short tempered and can never control his anger. Which he often vent on the wall or table near by. Sometimes he even broke his fist.
Tanya: Why was he like this?
Eric: I doesn't know exactly. I try my best to get along with him. But on comparing with me his childhood was quite horrible.
Tanya: Yeah! He told me that he lost his mother when he was 7. And you lived with your aunt, so he was all alone.

Eric: It was true. But when my mom was alive she took care of us very well and he loved her a lot. My mom even took Rayan secretly to see his mom without knowing to father. But when she passed away we were literally broken. I was 11 years old and Rayan was just 6. Then my mom's sister took me to her home, as she doesn't have a kid. She took care of me well and nourished me like her own son. She even called Rayan along with us but our father refused. But then I use to visit him on weekends and to play with him. But that too stopped when we shifted to New Zealand. But it was the time when police started to take sternous actions on mafia groups. And a serious riot was also begun within our father's gang. So, he started seeing everyone with an suspicious look. He can't trust anyone and started avoiding all contacts. But it was Rayan who was actually suffered a lot at those times. Our father can't keep him at home all alone so Rayan use to stay at basement. The entire day he use to be alone. He cried a lot to see his mom but my father's ego doesn't let him. Even the servants in home started to misbehav with him, which was once accidentally noticed by aunt on a visit and even informed about it to our father. He too warned the servant but I don't think it was effective. Rayan finally saw his mother only on her death bed. But after Rayan mother's death my father completely left mafia and wanted to take care of us. He even asked me to return. But Rayan completely avoided our father and started hating him all his life. Then he went to study in London on a scholarship and it was the time our father started his business empire.
My heart aches on hearing Rayan's childhood. I doesn't speak a word and remained silent. But then I forgot that we reached home. I straighted myself and thanked Eric for the ride and also for sharing about the past.
He came out of the car and said.....
Eric: I've not spent much time with Rayan. But I know him since a child. He never gets close with anyone on fear of losing them and never shares his feelings. But he had already told you about his childhood and also I've seen him how he cares about you.
I don't understand what was he about to say and I just remained silent hearing him.
Eric: Rayan suffered a lot. And on seeing his current business life, I'm sure it's hard to live peacefully. So, please take care of him.
On hearing his words, though I was shocked but assured him saying that, He doesn't need to worry about Rayan anymore.
Then I abide bye to him and went inside.
I can't sleep that night and my mind was full of thoughts about what Eric told. I tried hard to concentrate but couldn't. I felt quite disturbed and my heart ached. I tried hard to keep my mind straight but couldn't. My mind continuously remained him.....
Meanwhile Rayan's office
After others left, Rayan and Daniel waited for Andrew. After Andrew arrived, Rayan started questioning him. Though he answered them casually and it felts to be true, Rayan was not satisfied. Andrew then asked him in a sarcastic tone.....
Andrew: What made you to think that I might be the culprit😈..
Daniel: You're the one who first worked here and then changed to Mark's company for money. So, you are the one who know well about both our companies.
Andrew: That's your point of view Daniel. But Rayan has something different in his mind.
Saying them he pointed his head towards Rayan with a devilish smile.
Rayan too smiled with an angered face and said....
Rayan: Great!! Being with me for years, you have understood me a bit. Yes!!! I know you're not the one who did this. But you know who was it......
