Scarlett and Olivia continued to be kinda friends at school, but exclusively at school. They spend almost every break together but don't interact with each other as soon as they leave the school ground.

- Fast forward a few months, approximately half a year till January-

A close friend of Scarlett and Olivia had her birthday coming up and invited both of them. Olivia asked Scarlett if they should team up to get a present, which they did since Scarlett is quite creative when it comes to think of gifts- a trait that Olivia lacks. They bought a bottle of Ouzo or rather Scarletts mum bought it and a DVD of a movie that Lisa, their friend, loved.

At the party:

Scarlett arrived early because she promised Lisa to help her set up the house, even though it was a rather small gathering they wanted to put away everything that could get broken before making some pizzas, because they knew that everybody would get hungry as soon as they start drinking. They started to have some drinks before most of the others even were there and they did not start with something light but with Ouzo.

Scarlett was already quite tipsy as Olivia walked through Lisas garden door. Scarlett ran towards her and hugged her, glad to see her and to see that Olivia brought the present and did not forgot it. It was the first time they propper hugged. Scarlett did not thought about it at all, since she was already quite drunk. They both started to chat to some friends of Lisa, till Scarlett thought that Olivia is still way too sober, so she offered to make her a drink. At first the drink was quite soft, but over time she 'secretly'added more alcohol. Together they drank nearly a whole bottle of Ouzo, mixed with shots that they drank as a group activity. After a while the music got louder and Scarlett and Olivia started to dance, it must have looked ridiculous since non of them was good at dancing but no one would have noticed since everyone was really drunk at that point. Scarlett just finished pouring their next drink as Lisa shouted that they have to keep going since her parents will be back soon and the last train is departing in a bit. Without even thinking about it both Scarlett and Olivia emptied their glasses, Scarlett all in once and Olivia with two sipps. They did not recognised that everyone was already out the door as both of them still struggled to lace up their shoes while laughing their asses off. As soon as they were on the way to the train station Scarlett started to dance through the streets, because she felt way to alive and energetic to walk down a street at a normal pace. She danced around all of them trying to get them to dance with her. Olivia was quite annoyed by the drunk and loud girl but still admired her free she felt, so she joined her for a few minutes because she came to afraid of what other may think of her. Scarlett did not stopp, she danced around the small bench at the station, laughing out loud about the music playing in her head- it was one of the nights were she felt like nothing mattered. Here good music was only put on hold as her phone fell through the train stairs and she was not sure if she would be able to reach it, somehow she managed and afterwards she felt like the most independent and alive person on eart- like nothing will be able to stopp her. The next morning Scarlett can not really recall how she got home, she just knew that it was the first time that her parents saw her drunk and from that feeling in her stomach she was sure that she threw up. Her father told her that he picked her up from the train and that the others were still in there, having fun and being loud. Gladly they were not mad at here for coming home that drunk, but that did not make her feel any better. Scarlett had her first ever hangover and tried to recall the night before. She texted her friend Lisa to ask her about the night and what she was up to but sadly also her memory was faded so Scarlett was left with the hope that she did not do anything stupid.

After waking up from a much needed nap she had a text from Olivia, asking her if she is alright because she was quite worried that night. Scarlett responded saying that she has a bad headache and that her parents are making fun of her but apart from that she feels fine and really like the night- not mentioning that she can't really recall it.

Those were the texts that started them texting nearly everyday. From the next school day Scarlett entered the train where Olivia and her friend Anna sat and chatted with them.

*Author's Note*
