𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐢𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐥

𝐖e flew.
We burned.
We danced,
We yearned.

Stay at my side,
Hold my hand,
Set down your wings, brother,
The ground is ours to land.

We needn't look anything alike
We needn't do everything together
But forever, you and I shall remain the same,
In our power, between us, there is no nether.

And this, I tell you, as I watch the sun set,
And I wish for night to not rush,
Wish to sit with you in an empty field once more,
But for now, I settle with letting our wings brush.
