Ranboo POV

I opened my eyes and rolled over on my side looking at the clock, it read 6:04am for some reason I was excited to be awake, I had no plans for the day. There wasn't a reason to be happy but for some reason I was. I was very happy I got up and took some clothing from my walk in closet, I had to be the first person awake there wasn't any noise in the house, I took a potion and took a shower and got changed, I wasn't too sure with what to do with my day as I walked down the steps quietly, I kept my steps light I knew Phil was a light sleeper and a small creek would awake him. I hadn't seen the house so empty before, the sun was just now rising as the days began to get longer, the sun came through the blinds and light leaked onto to the kitchen counters, I pulled my blue sweater down to my wrists and walked towards the door taking my bag beside the door, I opened it and stepped out, It was cool outside. I walked around the side of the house and towards the barn and went past it where the stone wall that ran our property line came to a break, it was a straight cliff that overlooked the large town, down below was the orphanage, the school, where tubbo lived and just outside the town in the distance was the ocean. I liked living up in the hills, we were off the grid, no where to be found. I sat down on the bench and took in the secranry. It was truly beautiful, I mean Bill must still be down there in that little town, I could see the orphanage far to the left of the town right beside a large mountain that lead straight into the sky. I began to draw little doodles in my notebook that was in my bag, I made a small stick-figure like stech of my new 'family' I wrote the words 'Family' at the top of the page. I wrote down everyone's names on a page and gave a big long page-full essay on everyone their personality what they looked like I spent a while out back.

"What are you doing?" I heard a voice from behind me say, it scared me a bit I didn't hear anyone step up behind me I turned to look at the person, it was Techno. He sat down next to me.

"Nothing much just writing."

"We were getting worried, you missed breakfast everyone is looking for you."

"Oh Im sorry."

"No need to apologize, want to train with me?" I smiled and nodded and closed my book and placed it back into my bag. He stood up and I followed we went back around and into the clearing behind the house he tossed me a wooden sword and we spared for hours, at first it was serious training but after a while we began to play with it and mess around. It was not about 1 in the afternoon, I smiled and got off of the ground and looked to Techno who was out of breath.

"Wanna head back up? I can teach you how to make potions." He smiled I just now had noticed his large fangs that hanged out of his mouth I nodded and stood up we walked back inside and up the steps and up the ladder into the attic. We made potions and he taught me how to do that, I didn't make one that worked but it was a start.

"Hey Ranboo?." I looked up from the floor and to him and hummed in response.

"Do you want some new clothing?" I raised a brow.

"Sure I guess." I smiled and stood up he walked to the small closet he had and took out a folded up cape that was a royal purple color.

"I don't wear it anymore, I did when I was younger but It might fit you." I turned around and he placed it onto my shoulders It didnt fit perfectly but I liked it.

"I love it Techno thank you!".

"I kinda noticed that you didn't have much clothing." He dug around in his closet still.

"Yeah I didn't want dad to waste money on me when he had gone shopping."

"Well we weren't wasting it."

"I know that now." I leaned on the wall beside the closet and waited on Techno to say something. He took a crown and put it on my hair. It sat behind my horns and in the back of my hair I smiled.

"Thank you Techno!" I hugged him and he hugged back.

"Wilbur and Tommy never did this stuff with me." He smiled and looked at me as he pulled from the hug.

"I mean me and Wilbur spared and he wrote music in my room often, and tommy wanted to be like me for a period of time but he grew out of that and idolizes Wilbur now"

"Oh- I'm sorry Techno."

"Eh dont be sorry besides I got you now."

"Um Techno are you ok? Like you can talk to me." he had a questioning look on his face but spoke up.

"I think I told you this before but do you remember me telling you about voices?" I shook my head no slowly

"Well I have voices in my head and they tell me to do things there is lots of them and they talk all day really when I talk to others" I began to remember Phil saying that sometime the voices made him get violent.

"Well its getting late I got some stuff to do early, gonna go look at getting a few horses." my ears perked.

"Horses?"

"Yeah, do you like horses or something?."

"Well I did when I was a kid, can I go with you?"

"Sure I was going to get 6 from the stockyard sale tomorrow, you can tag along if you like. I could teach you how to ride, I used to ride a lot and go camping."

"Yeah I'd love to learn!" my tail swayed back and fourth. I went down the ladder excited for tomorrow.
