Chapter 30

"Now this is an easy script to study," you thought to yourself while reading the script of woomanna.

And if you guys don't know woomanna

Weirdly enough, even though the show is just for BBC to promote Loona and its sub-units, they're actually taking this seriously like,  you will receive a 5 figure salary in dollars per episode, and mind you that 8 minutes is the average run time of the show per episode.

You asked Jonathan why did you get such a good salary for this and he told you that he is such a beast in negotiations.

Though, he also told you that your fee slowly went upward since you became an official actor. This gave Jonathan leverage to demand a favorable salary for you unlike when you are just starting and Jonathan has to beg or bribe some companies to take you as a model.

"Well if they believe in me that much then I should take this seriously." You said to Jonathan who nodded at your statement.

Jonathan proceeded to give you your schedule for tomorrow. Two key events are scheduled for you tomorrow. One is the script reading with BBC and the second one is the press conference for School Life Melodies.

Jonathan then reminded you to allocate time for a decent rest before he left your dorm.

You reviewed the script for a couple of hours then you called it a day.

Now you're now in a salon with Jonathan with a bunch of salon employees giving you some makeup that didn't sit well with you.

You asked Jonathan if this is really needed but asked you if you want to look like a zombie in your media debut which made you laugh and cringe at the same time.

After that Jonathan took you to the BBC building for the script reading.

Upon arriving at the meeting room you saw the 3 males and 4 females waiting, you greeted them and they also greeted you back. though, one of the males threw a shade at you.

"Man, who wears a tux at a script reading." The dude said, making you embarrassed a bit.

"Because he has a press conference for a MOVIE to attend later, something that you would never experience," Jonathan said, clapping back at the boy and putting him in his place.

The dude apologized while you're trying to calm down Jonathan who's very angry right now.

"No one will disrespect Y/n on my watch."

The sight of you trying to calm your manager down made the girls giggle.

After waiting for a bit the BBC CEO finally arrived with some other staff.

The BBC CEO then introduced  YYXY, a sub-unit of Loona, and will be the main focus of the show.

Yves, Gowon, Chuu, and Olivia introduced themselves one by one, then the CEO asked you and 3 other males which member you guys want to be partnered with.

And unfortunately, you were the one who was asked first. You don't know who to pick so you answered it professionally, saying that you would work with any of them. Making the CEO and Jonathan laugh at you.

Suddenly Chuu raises her hand saying that you're the one she wants to work with. The CEO asked you if that's okay and you answered yes immediately.

The rest of the script reading went smoothly and now it was now the time for you to go to the press conference.

But before you left the building, A sun in the form of Chuu called you. You asked what can you do for her and she just told you that she is looking forward to working with you.

She then asked for your phone which made you confused but you gave your phone to her since you think that she is harmless.

She then typed something before giving you your phone back, you checked what she put on it and you saw that she put her contact info on your phone.

Chuu also gave you her phone so you can also put your contact info on it. After exchanging numbers she went back inside the BBC company building.

Now, you're now on a red carpet spot with Do-hyun and So-hyun smiling in front of a bunch of cameras.

You silently asked Do-Hyun if when will this end and the man just told you to endure since the other celebrities and other key people hadn't arrived yet.

Fortunately, the other celebrities finally arrived and you three finally went inside the venue.

The rest of the press con went smoothly with the media focusing their questions on Roverflame, So-hyun, Do-hyun, and the director, making you a bit jealous.

"Come on, I'm here too ask me some questions too." You thought to yourself, now wanting to go home since no one is acknowledging your existence right now.

Unbeknownst to you

Two girls who are currently in Japan are watching the press con for the sole reason of seeing you.

Minju and Hyewon are watching you do nothing in the press con since no one is asking you questions.

They feel sympathetic to you since they think you're getting disregarded by the media.

They want to watch you more but Eunbi has called them to get back rehearsing their parts.

The press con ended with you doing nothing and you felt really sad about it.

Jonathan apologized to you and you just told them that it's ok but he can tell that you're really sad about it

With this very sad experience. You promised yourself that you're going to work hard so this will never happen to you again.
