You're angry at yourself for making Minju cry.

"So much for my plans going smoothly" you mentally mocked yourself.

You know the answer to your problem with Minju but you didn't have the backbone to do it and besides...

"The school event will be held next week, I can't just take the prince role and hope that my male classmate will accept my reasoning on why I'm replacing him."

You tried to think of any solutions but unfortunately, you can't come up with anything.

With a heavy sigh, you head back to where your classmates are.

Upon returning, your classmates ask you where Minju is, but you just told them to let her be alone and you asked them to just focus on making the props. If you guys were going to have a successful school event then you had to make sure that we had the necessary materials to put on a good play...

You did your best trying to direct the stage practice even though Minju is missing which makes it harder for the prince......

Since you're basically making him talk to the air.

But even though his current situation was hilarious, he still tries to act and be professional about it which you're very thankful for.

-------

It was late in the afternoon and you're still at the school grounds fixing some minor details in the script.

When someone tapped your shoulder to get your attention.

It was Minju

You signaled her to sit beside you and she complied.

You apologize for making her upset but you doubled down your decision to decline.

You explained that anyone can be an actor or an actress but not anyone can lead a bunch of staff in this kind of play.

You also told her that if she really wants to be a good actress, she should be used on having different male leads.

You lectured her about being a successful actress for 15 minutes straight and she hasn't said anything, you panicked because you think that you might have overdone it.

You apologize to her again and she started laughing at you.

She told you that she's the one who should be apologizing because of her actions that resulted in wasting precious time that should have been used for practicing the play.

You just shrug it off, telling her that everything will be fine since you know that she will work harder from now on.

Though she gave you a condition for her to return.

She told you that, at the next school festival, you will act with her on the stage.

You reluctantly agreed even though you didn't like the idea of acting in front of many people.

"Well, I'm just going to suggest a band presentation for the next year's school festival so I can get away"

----------

A few days have gone by and everything is going according to plan.

Minju is now showing her skills and your male classmate is doing just fine.

The minor characters are also doing a great job in practice.

And with this, you're 100% confident that this will be a success.

------

The day finally arrives.

When went to your school you immediately felt the happy atmosphere that the school festival brings

As you walked around the school, you couldn't help notice all the different types of attraction. To the food stands, to clothes shops, and even a haunted house. There were also so many different colors and tons of families. It was a sight to see even if it was terribly busy. You loved the amount of people that this festival brought.

And since you have your own event to manage, you will have to wait until you have some free time to spare.

Upon entering the theater where you guys will do the stage play.

Your homeroom teacher gave you a very bad news.

"Y/n!!! Your classmate that will act as the prince is sick, he won't be able to come today!!!."

And upon hearing that your world just turned upside down.
