Chapter 34

A month has passed since your last encounter with Jiheon and still, you're confused about what she said to you that day.

"Is she planning something?" You asked yourself trying to figure Jiheon out. Luckily, you're currently on a break from all of that celebrity stuff since Jonathan told you that you've been working nonstop these past few months and the filming of woomanna will resume next month, so he decided to stop taking some jobs for you as of the moment to give you some time to rest.

You're lucky that you're not working for now since you think that your personal problems might affect your performance on the job.

And speaking of the job, School life Melodies were a huge success at the box office in South Korea and because of that all those who participated in making the movie including you, received a bonus from the production company.

Now, you're currently playing some games on your console to kill some time when you received a message from Minju, who didn't contact you for almost a month, texted you that she wants to meet up.

Upon reading her message, you quickly changed to decent clothing and made your way to the meeting place.

Upon arriving you saw that Minju was already there, waiting for you, you called her name and you immediately noticed that she was not in a good mood.

You gave her a warm hug and told her that you missed her very much.

Though…

She gave you a silent treatment.

"Man, we've been walking around this park for an hour now without her talking to me." You thought to yourself trying to figure out what's happening to your girlfriend.

After walking for a little bit more, you finally got the courage to ask her what's her problem.

"Tell me, did I do something wrong for you to treat me like this?" You asked her.

She then started to order you that you should tell her every project that you have and the girls you will be interacting with.

She also told you to decline any romantic scenes which made no sense at all.

You tried to reason with her that you can't do that because it's the job and you have no choice but to do whatever the director wants.

But she just told you to drop the romance projects, especially woomanna.

And that made you realize something.

She's jealous….

You ask her if she's jealous and she shyly nodded. She told you that seeing the selca Chuu posted with you on it made her jealous and scared at the same time.

She's scared at the fact she might lose you to someone more beautiful and talented than her.

Hearing this, you immediately hugged her tight and assured her that you won't leave her for any other girls that you will be working with in your future projects.

Fortunately, it worked and she apologized for treating you badly today.

You assured her that it's okay but realistically speaking?

You're quite disappointed in her.

You mean, you rejected Jiheon in front of many people for her and you think that you've been loyal to her since when both of you got together so her not fully trusting you stings a bit.

After that confrontation, Minju went back to her happy personality and invited you to dinner which you accepted but deep inside.

You just wanted to go home… free from all of this stress.

Meanwhile,

Jonathan was in his office reviewing a certain document, a new acting job for you to be exact…and so far, he likes what he sees but the salary that you will receive for this is a bit low on his standards. 

Though that acting job was recommended by RoverFlame, saying that it will help your career if Jonathan accepts this.

RoverFlame also said that he will make sure that you will get the male lead in this role, Since he and the guy who made the source material for this upcoming T.V. show are good friends…

"Well, I can't decide on this alone, I'm going to talk to Y/n about this tomorrow," Jonathan thought to himself while putting the document that has a title...
