~Bella's POV~
I was watching the screen of departing flights for mine. It was growing closer until everything got backed by 2 hours. I heard many groans and smirked to myself. Playing around with everyone was very funny.
"Flight 207 ready for departure. Flight 207 ready for departure." A woman said over the intercom of the airport. I gathered my bags and made my way to the correct gate. Three attendents greeted everyone and directed us on where to go. I had booked first class tickets to Berlin after I got in touch with a coven of witches. They were eager to meet one of their own and agreed to help me. I just needed something that belonged to the Cullens so that they could be tracked. I, of course, did try tracking them myself but that resulted in part of the forest being burned down. I looked online but they were keeping a low profile. I thanked the attendant for the drink and opened my laptop to finish some school work. It was the middle of the semester so midterms were next week and I felt confident enough to ace them.
"Ma'am? I need you to turn off your electronics." I flashed her a smile and hurridly shut down my computer. I buckled back up and waited as the plane touched down. I had packed my cold clothing as I would be up in the mountains. I gathered my carry on items and walked out onto the tarmac. It wasn't too cold but it nipped at my fingertips making me curl them into my hands. The wind was harsh as the planes came and went so I wrapped my jacket around me tighter. Warm engulfed me as I stepped through the airport doors going straight to the baggage claim. I took notice of my purple bag and pulled it off the conveyor belt. Walking out the front entrance there was an abundance of taxi's at the ready. I knocked on one of the windows just about scaring the poor man.
"I need a ride up into the mountains. I'll pay $600 if you can get me there before nightfall." He quickly nodded and helped with my bags. I smiled sweetly at him as I kept my carry on bag with me.
We finally pulled up to the cottage and I asked for his help again. He followed me obidiently but it wore off as I stepped through the door. He looked confused until the door closed behind him. I smiled as the three other witches lulled him into a false sense of hope. I went back outside and disposed of the car as they did what they wanted. I heard a scream so I went back inside to see him dangling by his hands. I laughed along with the other witches and we tore him apart.
"It took you a while." I was cleaning the blood from my lips and hummed.
"El, it's not like I can control time." I dropped the rag into the sink and turned to face the witches again. El, or Eleanor, was the leader and didn't like tardiness. She wore a burgundy dress with a black cloak when she went out but it wasn't very often. The other two girls snickered at my comment but stopped once a glare was sent their way.
"So, what do we need to do first?" I asked as I sat down on the loveseat across from Eleanor.
"Vampire blood." I groaned knowing where I would have to go. She just gave me a raised eyebrow not saying anything.
"The Volturi are very accomodating and will act accordingly while you are there." She spoke with them already.
"At least let me rest for the night. That flight was very long." She gave me a nod up the stairs and I thanked her.
"Don't forget to meet me in the morning before you leave." I heard her say to my retreating form. I acknowledged her and slipped off my clothes from the day. I was fully comfortable with my body and I took pride in it. I had grown out of my teenage body and could see myself filling out in all the right places. I grabbed my silk nightgown and slipped into bed with one of my new spellbooks. This one covered potion making for people advanced in the skill. Living with the three witches I would be able to actually make potions if they allowed. I yawned as I flipped the page and saw an odd symbol taking up the entirety of the space. I closed my book and looked around. I kept seeing this symbol so I quickly sketched it and placed it in a magic locked box. I will not have that haunting me while I worked. The room went back to normal so I just decided to go to sleep.
There wasn't much sunlight this morning but I didn't care. I put on a dress like the witches wore and went downstairs with my small pouch already on. Sarah and Maxine were sitting at the bar stools watching Elenor make breakfast. The two younger witches didn't look alike but they certainly acted like sisters. Maxine was found by Eleanor in Britain when the world was at war. Her looks made her stand out with her red hair and green eyes. Everyone wanted her gone but Eleanor could see that she just wanted to fit in. Sarah was found last in a ditch on the side of a road. She was almost dead when Maxine saw her and brought her back to Eleanor. They nursed her back to health and she couldn't be happier that she found people like her. Eleanor was a mystery to me as she never talked about her past. I can see how she looks at the other two witches and figured that she might've had children like them.
"Ah, there you are. Hungry?" I shook my head and stood by the stove.
"My cloak? I just want to get this done and over with." She nodded agreeing with me and brought me to the closet. She pulled out a black robe with blue on the inside and dusted it off before handing it to me.
"This you can keep. You are a part of this coven now." I smiled and gave her a quick hug. She gave me different types of potions in case I would need them.
"Never use this unless you are dying, got it?" I nodded as she gave me a white shimmering vial. I pulled the cloak over my form and put up the hood.
"Safe travels."
