Chapter 7

(P.S. I've never been on a plane so I'm not too sure what happens.)

~Bella's POV~

     I hummed as I waited patiently for my flight out of Rio. Sarah told me that she felt safe with Carlisle and Esme and they both agreed to keep her safe. I viewed her as my own flesh and blood so I was a bit wary. My flight was only supposed to be a few hours but it always took forever before we boarded. They had given me first-class tickets and I was grateful for them because of my leg.

"Flight 135 is now boarding. Flight 135 is now boarding." I got up carefully and adjust the crutches under my arms before moving. I made it to the desk and they allowed me in first as I was disabled at the moment. I hurried to my seat as a flight attendant took my crutches and put them in overhead baggage.

"Thank you." She gave me a smile and it was genuine. I pulled out my phone and sent a text to Carlisle telling him I was on the plane and would text him once I got off. The response was instantaneous, he was very worried for me, but he knew I had to do this.

~5 Hours Later~

     Against Carlisle's judgment I used my powers to accelerate my healing and my leg was much better after the flight. I still had to use the crutches to get off the plane so that no one would question me.

"Bella?" I turned to my right slightly and saw Charlie in blue jeans and a button down.

"Hey dad." He motioned for me to follow him and we came out to a white Camero.

"Where'd you get this from?" He put everything in the trunk and helped me into the vehicle.

"I bought it to catch up with you. I think you should know some things before you continue." He moved around to the driver side and sat down.

"First off; I am actually a warlock. You are my actual daughter and your mother is something else; a dark witch if you will." I gulped as I remembered Carlisle and my fingertips.

"Would a dark witch have this?" I took off my gloves and he sighed.

"Yes, it would be only the start so this is reversable. What happened?" I recounted my time in Europe and he was actively listening to me. His eyes seemed to light up at the names I said like he knew them. After I recounted my travels we were at a hotel where he apparently had a reservation at.

"Maxine is most likely still alive. She'll look into her own future for guidance. I would say I'm sorry about Eleanor but I'm really not. She was always power hungry and they most likely knew you were my daughter. I'll have to talk with Aro again to figure out what happened. Enough about that though, what brings you here?" He sat down by the window and waited.

"I need to find Fera. She is an evil I brought upon this world and needs to be eliminated." I saw Charlie grin a little and his eyes changed to an electric blue. I stepped back and tried opening the door but it was gone.

"Leaving so soon? I thought we could catch up since he took you away from me all those years ago." Charlie's appearance changed to show Fera in a flowing red gown. She sighed and rolled her shoulders as I visibly saw the tension leave her and become something else. Black wings formed behind her and then draped down her back.

"What did you do to my dad?!" I brought a hand up and had a fireball at the ready. She just laughed in my face and blew it out. I gasped but was then bound together by a steal beam that came out of the wall.

"Charlie was weak. He tried to protect you for years until I came up with an alternative, Chalice. I slipped in undetected by dream walking. He caught on eventually, but I took care of him. I can't look like someone else unless I kill them. That's how dark magic works honey." Your father was dead and by her hands. You felt something in you grow as you saw red encase your vision. You felt yourself floating and smiled as the steal melt away from you. Thunder rolled in and you held a hand up towards the sky, catching a lightning strike before it hit the ground.

"You better hope I miss, mother." You spit out the last word and yelled as you threw the lightning bolt at her. She disappeared and you screamed in rage.

"COWARD!!" You were breathing fast and you worried about the hotels safety. You kept feeling the power in you grow and were helpless to stop it.

"Bella?!" Turning around you saw Sarah with Carlisle and Esme sharing concerned looks at how you were.

"LEAVE!" You bellowed out towards the group. You didn't want to hurt them and they were too close. Closing your eyes you tried holding onto the spiraling feeling that threatened to escape. You cried out as something snapped in your body. You let out another scream and heard crumbling all around you.

"JUST GO! PLEASE!" You opened your eyes to see the hotel was vaporized but the group of three were standing tall.

"We won't leave you again! Not after what happened last time!" Carlisle yelled over the wind whipping around all of us. Another pulse of power pushed them back and you hoped Sarah could protect them. You locked eyes with Sarah and forced her off the ground. You watched her struggle until she was right in front of you.

"You must protect them. Whatever it takes." You told her through clenched teeth in which she nodded. You touched her chest and she screamed as you let some power course into her. You knew how much she could take and she knew this was for everyone's protection. You lowered her back to the ground where Esme quickly took her into her arms. You raised your arms up and gave them one last look.

"I'm sorry." You felt tears stream down your cheeks as you fully let the power leave you. It felt as if you were being pulled apart and another force was pushing you back together. You gritted your teeth and screamed in pain. You heard another scream and prayed that it wasn't who you think it is. A gasp left you as you hit the ground hard but you must've blacked out for a minute. You groaned as you moved onto your side. You were breathing heavily as you got onto your knees.

"Bella!" You looked up and saw Carlisle running towards you. You hissed in pain as he pulled you up on your feet.

"Are you alright?" I just nodded and sighed as I moved forward. Your knees buckled and Carlisle was helping you walk after that. You saw a head of blonde hair ahead and almost cried with how Sarah looked.

"No!" You suddenly got a burst of adrenaline and was next to Sarah in the next second. She was missing an arm and she was badly burned.

"No, no, no, no..." You put your hands on her temple and tried searching for her subconsciousness. You gasped as you found nothing, you killed your baby sister. Fera was going to pay for a lot of deaths. You guarded your face and closed her eyes so that she could sleep. Esme was smoothing back her hair but looked up at you. You just nodded and watched as tears rose up in her eyes that would never fall. You lifted Sarah up and followed Carlisle and Esme out to their car.

I know it's been a while but I finally got the next chapter up and I'm not sorry about it. I'm hoping to only have 10 chapters so the finale is coming soon. Let me know that you like this book by voting on this chapter specifically.
