Mondstadt was know for its peaceful nature and the polite and lively people who lived in the city of freedom themself and even though it wasn't a huge nation, the people enjoyed their days and cultures — and so did a certain girl with beautiful ( H/L ) ( H/C ) hair. ( Y/N ) was born in Mondstadt and was known by most of the citizen for many reasons, for example her adventures attitude that she always had wished to travel around through teyvat one day and her interest in the story's of all the travelers.
Other than that was the female known to be very polite and helpful as she would sometimes just stroll through town and help people that she crossed ways with when she saw someone was in need of it. But most of the time, ( Y/N ) would read books — one book after the other about the seven nations, rumors of old legends and sometimes novels about people traveling the world, longing after the sight of what was written down there.
Some people asked her why she wasn't leaving Mondstadt if she wanted that so much, but the female would only smile — telling them that there were just too much things that needed to be done there. But ( Y/N ) promised herself that she would travel around teyvat as soon as possible now and practically start from the beginning somewhere else.
She prepared herself by reading books about how to survive on your own, about different plants that you could eat in the nature and which you couldn't, and also about where she wanted to go. Liyue, she thought, was a good start. It wasn't that far but still a whole other nation with different cultures and morals. It was exciting to say the least, reading about the nation and its cultures, the god of Geo and so on.
The female sat inside of the library inside of the headquarters of the knights, many books placed in front of her on the table as like three of them were opened, ( Y/N ) writing down things she needed to know and drawing a map herself since the normal map wasn't enough. Without the notice of the female who was just focused on what was in front, two Emerald green orbs analyzed her features and movements from afar.
Lisa — the librarian of the knights of favonius, had found interest in the ( H/C ) haired female since a long time now, seeing her coming in the library every so often with her typical sweet smile, scanning through the pages of multiple books as she would always be so focused on the text that she would forget about her surroundings.
It began with Lisa just thinking about what an interesting person she was, just watching her a brief moment before doing whatever she did before, but this changed after time when the honey-brown haired female would view ( Y/N ) now for minutes, just Stopping what she recently did to watch the other female as she herself didn't even noticed it at first.
But whatever Lisa did, approaching the ( H/C ) haired girl and trying to talk to her, giving her books for free or even not minding if she would keep the books way longer than she was supposed to do, ( Y/N ) didn't seemed to find such an interest in Lisa like she did in her as the ( H/C ) haired girl was more focused on the books she was reading. Lisa could live with that, just staying a bit further away and admiring the features of the other female — but that was over when she heard about her wanting to leave Mondstadt.
She thought about something — something to stop ( Y/N ) from leaving her. She wanted to hold her this time, just for herself.
She went down the stairs towards the table where the ( H/C ) haired female sat, standing beside her as she laid one of her hands on the females shoulder what caused ( Y/N ) to slightly jolt up, not noticing Lisa's presence before as she looked down at her with a sweet smile on her face.
"( Y/N ), Right?"
Lisa asked, even though knowing her name better than anything else as said female returned the smile, nodding her head as answer as she also spoke up.
"And you are... Lisa, right?"
Her voice, as sweet as honey, was like music for the Librarian as she never really spoke with her before long and would always enjoy hearing that voice as her smile just grew a little.
"Yes, that's right. Say, I heard you wanted to leave Mondstadt? How does that come?"
Lisa asked, her hand on her chin as she continued on viewing ( Y/N ) who didn't even knew where she got that info. Sure, it was kinda obvious with her reading that much books about Liyue and the way towards it, but why did the librarian even cared about it? ( Y/N ) didn't even noticed that one of Lisa's hands was still placed on her shoulder as she spoke up again, answering her question.
"Oh um, yes I plan on leaving soon, traveling to Liyue an even further! I always wanted to travel around"
( Y/N ) said, her smile widening at the thought as Lisa's slightly dropped for a moment.
"Oh? So, when do you plan on coming back?"
The brown-haired female asked, looking down at the girl with now just a slight noticeable smile on her face.
"Hm... I don't know, maybe I don't even come back and stay somewhere else—"
( Y/N ) had just finished her sentence as Lisa gripped her shoulder tight, a bright but faked grin was on her face as she looked down at the female who sweat-dropped, not knowing what was going on or why the librarian had such a tight grip on her shoulder, as she started shaking due to the dark aura of Lisa. What was going on?
( Y/N ) did never experience something like this as everyone was usually so kind and even Lisa herself, was a polite and respectful woman. So what was going on with her.
"Um... are you ok...?"
The ( H/C ) haired female asked in almost a whisper as she was concerned if she maybe just didn't felt well or something but that thought was gone in an instant as Lisa had loosened her hand on the females shoulder before chuckling slightly.
"How naive"
She said, laughing as she looked down at ( Y/N ) who was now more than confused and anxious, standing up as she quickly took the few things that belonged to her.
"I- I think I should go now—"
"Oh no, Your not. You won't go anywhere"
As that was said, the sight of ( Y/N ) went pitch black.
Days, weeks, even month, had passed since someone last saw the ( H/C ) haired female. Everyone believed that she had left the city to finally fulfill her dreams, but oh how wrong they were, because ( Y/N ) never got to even set a single foot out of town.
