Ch. 13 "Two Months"

                                          Third Person POV 

The yelling and screaming could be heard from down the hall, some shield agents stopping in their tracks hearing the yelling, 

                                   Pietro POV 

I was waiting outside of the lab where Tony and Bruce were working on princess, that's when Fury walked over to us which was a mistake, 

I was beyond infuriated, 

I stood up, 

"This is your fault!" I yelled storming over to him, 

"How is this my fault, I didn't know they were keeping something like that in there," Fury said 

"We told you! she told you multiple times that she didn't want any part of this!!" I yelled, 

"Brother," Wanda said putting her hand on my shoulder but I shrugged it off, 

"Now, she's in there fighting for her life because you pushed and pushed until she had no choice but to say yes!!" I yelled, 

"Pietro calm down," Steve said 

"No I will not calm down this is all his fault!"I yelled 

"You better pray she's alright for your sake!" I said storming off before I did something I regretted, 

                                                    Hayden POV 

Beep, Beep, Beep, 

I hear beeping, dripping, 

My heavy eyelids slowly flutter open, everything was blurry, I felt like I was hit by a bus, I close my eyes again, 

I remember being in the HYDRA facility, the crocodile man!, 

They heart monitor spiked, 

I opened my eyes again, I tried to move my hands to my face but I couldn't, I look down to see my wrists strapped to the bed, 

What the hell is going on!!, 

I cross my eyes seeing my nose and mouth seeing I have a tube down my throat, 

I see Pietro his hand was in mine, I squeezed his hand as hard as I possibly could, 

He stirred in his sleep, 

The beeping started getting faster, 

I was freaking out was I in a coma, what the hell happened that crocodile man couldn't have hurt me that bad could he? I thought 

I squeezed again, 

Suddenly Tony burst through the door, 

"Kid wake up she's awake," Tony said in a panic, 

Pietro shot up, 

"Princess, Thank goodness," He said cupping my face, tears welling up in his eyes, 

I tried moving my hands in a panic, 

"Hey, Hey easy were going to get this stuff off of you alright," Tony said 

I nodded,

"Just hold still," Tony said 

Tony got all the equipment off of me, and pulled the oxygen tube out, 

"How do you feel?" Pietro asked, 

"H-How long?' I said in a raspy voice, 

They looked at me with sadness knowing exactly what I was asking, 

"Two months," Pietro said 

My eyes widen, Two months, how could this happen? I thought 

"It's alright princess, your alright," He said cupping my face, I couldn't tell if he was trying to convince me or himself, 

He kissed me on the lips deeply, I felt the tears fall down my cheeks, 

How could I let this happen? I thought 

"How about I get you something to drink," He said 

Without even thinking, I grabbed his wrist, 

I was too fragile right now, I couldn't let him leave, 

One thing I did know, is I never am going out in the field again, I almost died, that monster almost killed me,
