Ch. 14 "Precious"

                                                     Hayden POV 

It has been exactly three days since I woke up, I was allowed to leave the bed after day three, I am in sort of a daze from everything that happened, 

Pietro has been at my side constantly I think it scared the hell out of him, just like me, 

The thing that is constantly haunting me, is those cold yellow eyes, I can't get them out of my head, 

He was so strong nothing affected him, the only thing that had a little bit of an impact was my explosive arrow, 

I am currently sitting on the roof of the stairwell that leads up to the roof, 

I am sitting with my legs criss crossed, my bow sitting I'm my lap, 

What was I thinking? going out there when I hadn't picked up a bow in five years, haven't fought in five years, 

I could have lost everything, and Pietro... 

I looked up at the stars, I am never doing that again, 

I haven't really talked about what happened, and I don't want to, I almost died, that thing, that whatever he was, he used to be a person at least that's what it seemed, 

He almost killed me, he said his sole purpose was to destroy me, but why? HYDRA had way more rational methods than this, 

Why make such a creature just to destroy me? 

I let out a shaky sigh, 

"There you are," I hear, 

I look down and see Peter, he looked a mess, 

I jumped down, 

"Yeah, this is where I come to think," I said 

"Look I'm so sorry, about everything, I was supposed to have your back, and I failed and.." He began talking fast, 

"Peter, I don't blame you for what happened, how could you have known they had something like that in there," I said 

"But.." He trailed off, 

I patted his shoulder, 

"It's alright Peter, I promise," I said 

"They had another experiment in there I was fighting a human snake," He said 

"Did you give it hell?" I asked 

"You bet I did," He said 

I chuckled 

He looked at me concerned, 

"Are you sure you're okay?" He asked 

"I'm fine Peter," I said smiling at him, trying to put my front up, he already feels guilty I can't possibly put more on him, 

Peter nodded walking out, 

"That was very nice of you princess," I hear 

I turn around to see Pietro, 

He was leaning against the wall smiling at me, 

"What can I say I'm a nice person sometimes," I said 

He walked over to me, 

He cupped my face, 

"I am worried about you princess," He said 

"I am okay I promise, just a few sprains and cracks I'm fine," I said 

"I thought you were going to never wake up," He said his voice cracking, 

"I thought I would never see those beautiful ocean blue eyes again, never hear your voice again, hear your laugh, it scared the hell out of me," He said his voice just above a whisper, 

I grabbed his hand and placed it over my heart, 

"You feel that," I said 

He nodded 

"I am alive, and that because of You, Steve and Bucky," I said 

"But.." He began 

"Pietro you have saved me in more ways than I can explain, and I am forever grateful for that," I said 

I felt the tears welling up in my eyes, 

"I am not going anywhere," I said 

He pulled me into him, his hands on my waist, 

He kissed me passionately, my arms around his neck as my hands played with his hair, 

our lips separated, 

"Promise me you will never do anything like that again," He whispered, 

He kissed down my neck, 

"I promise," I whispered back, 

He picked me up by the back of my thighs and next thing I know we were in our room, and he was laying me on the bed, he pulled his shirt over his head, 

"Then let us seal this promise shall we Princess," He said smirking, 

"Mm, What do you have in mind?" I asked in a flirty tone, 

He caged me underneath him as he kissed me deeply, 

"I think you know princess," He said against my lips 

I know what he has in mind, and I also know, I never want to lose him, I don't ever want to end up like that again, and I'm making sure that I'm never in that situation again, i thought 

My eyes flutter shut as he kisses down my neck, 

our hands laced together, 

Pietro unlaced our hands grabbing my shirt and pulling it over my head, 

He kissed me deeply, 

"I hope your not tired, Because I'm going to prove to you over and over again, how precious you are to me princess," He said as his hands trailed down my sides
