Ch.19 "Nightmare"

                         Hayden POV

                Dream

It was cold. And dark

"Hello??" I said

All you could see is your breath from the sheer cold.

I held myself trying too keep warm

"You think this is over dark archer?" I hear from the darkness

I hear movement from behind me, which makes me spin around.

"Oh no this was only the beginning my dear." I hear the voice

I hear movement behind me again and I spin around again.

"It is over." I said

"For now but soon everything you love. Everyone you love will fall. And you will have no one to blame but yourself." The voice said

"Show yourself you coward!" I yelled

Suddenly steps grow closer to me. And under the moonlight the creature emerges.

The same creature I faced.

"You will be responsible for the death of not only the avengers but your family as well." He said

"Your wrong." I said glaring at him

"Am I?" He said

Then the moon peeked through the clouds and at my feet laid everyone I love. Dead

"No..." I said in shock

"Now it's your turn." He said

With his massive clawed hand puncturing through my chest like paper.

                       End Dream

I gasped awake sitting up immediately my chest rising and falling at a rapid pace,

Sweat covered my body.

I tried slowing my breathing closing my eyes.

It was just a dream...

It was just a dream....

I kept repeating in my mind.

I looked over seeing Pietro fast asleep.

I slowly get out of bed getting dressed. In workout clothes which consists of leggings a dark tank top and Nike shoes

I quietly leave the room.

I decided the best way to handle this is to run it off.

I had my earphones in and started my run. Running faster than usual the sun was just starting to come up when I decided to take a breather.

Sitting on a bench at a park chugging down some water.

When I felt someone sit next to me.

I look over to see Bucky.

"Wanna talk about it?" He said

"Talk about what?" I said

"Talk about whatever has you up at crack ass of dawn. Running like you are being chased by a herd of man eating zombies." Bucky said

I arched my brow

"Didn't know you knew about zombies." I said chuckling

"Peter's been catching me up." He said

I nodded

"So what is bothering you?" He asked

"Do you believe that creature is really gone?" I said softly

"It is me and Steve dealt with it ourselves." Bucky said

"Why?" He asked

"Just have a feeling Bucky... that this isn't over.." I said looking at him

The look of concern filled his eyes

                      Third person POV

Northern Russia

In a vat of chemicals and steam and electricity sparked inside the cement vat.

"Kill the switch!!" Eric said

The HYDRA agent did as he was told.

They waited.

Then suddenly out of the tank in one swift motion the human crocodile emerged going on a rampage killing every Hydra agent in sight

Eric laid in a pool of his own blood looking at the experiment.

"I brought you back..." Eric said

"Yes you did." The crocodile said in a deep hissing and menacing voice

"And now that I am. I am here to fulfill one and only purpose." He said looking back at Eric with his glowing yellow eyes

"To destroy the dark archer and anyone who gets in my way." He said in his dark voice as he left the facility

"What have we done..." Eric said as his head finally collapsed from all the energy he spent holding it up
