My chosen walkout song for this one was "I Will Not Bow". *Probably put on headphones if you want to listen*
I walked slowly out of the tunnel to the tune of a chorus of boos. I circled the field as usual, I didn't bother looking at Lance. I strutted over to the small Alolan section that was cheering me, Alolan Flag high above my head. They cheered and Kukui looked at me in a panic "You know what you're doing don't you!? You brought a flag in to enemy territory, if you lose...!" I knew what happened, bringing a flag away from home soil and losing meant you had to be voted back in to the next tournament to participate. "I'm not going to lose Kukui so whatever you were going to say hold it. Save that seat next to you for Lillie would ya?" I said before hopping down and taking my place on the field. I jumped up and down as the boos rained down. Lance smirked at me "It'll be fun being the one to relegate your region back to the Minor Leagues." I looked back at him, "I'm not gonna be the one in question after this battle." I drew my first pokemon. I had spotted Lillie making her way down to where Kukui was, still dressed in her "Z-form" I shot her a smile and then sent out Whimsicott, who would be up against the first Dragonite. The referee signaled the match start and off we went. Whimsicott moved slickly around the arena, as usual my teams strong suit would be a combination of the fairy type and speed. This combination worked to perfection, Whimsicott shot in and connected with a moonblast at point blank after ducking a dragon pulse. 1-0. Next up was Charizard, who I met with Lycanroc. 4x advantage, I couldn't have guessed it more perfectly. Lycanroc made good on it too, a quick accelerock to stone edge combo put me up 2 to nothing. Everything was going to plan. I sent out Whimsicott again who was met by Duraludon. Whimsicott did her best but eventually fell. That's ok though I have a plan. I then sent out Raichu. I had faith in him whether Lance kept the Duraludon in or not. He sent out his Aerodactyl. I can work with that. Raichu dodged rock after rock and stayed calm during it all. We were very in sync considering I had known him since he was a pichu. I trusted him to land a picture perfect thunderbolt to end it and he delivered. 3-1, I was entering a sort of flow state, everything I was doing was working to perfection. "What's happening Lance!?" I called and received a healthy serving of boos. I laughed "Just gonna let them answer for you?" I called as I sent out Metagross. Metagross unfortunately fell to Dragonite but it was very close. I still wasn't very concerned. Lance called to me, "Like I said you're rash." I replied "Scoreboard." The cheers were coming against me. That's ok though. Next up was his Gyarados, who I met with Raichu. Raichu hit him with an electro ball immediately as soon as it started. Critical Hit, Raichu was on another level right now. That was supposed to be a mega Gyarados but Raichu hit it so hard and so fast they didn't even get a chance. One hit KO. 4-2. The Dragonite came out next and I let Raichu stay since he was doing so well. Unfortunately for me Raichu moved in to a dragon pulse at full speed and fell. Raichu did enough damage to where I now felt I had him in checkmate. "Incineroar let's go!". You see Incineroar had an advantage over Duraludon, and with a weakend Dragonite... Incineroar could do it. The Dragonite stayed and was blasted by a Darkest Lariat after missing dragon pulse to the left. 5-3. "Lance! I thought I hadn't faced any real competition!? When does it start today?" I was being mean and received boos for it but I just wanted to make a conversation point with Gladion later heh. Lance sent out his Duraludon with a defeated look on his face. "I'm not wasting any time! Incineroar..." I raised my wrist revealing the Fire Type Z-crystal "... It's time to pay him back and then some! Inferno Overdrive!" Incineroar made good on the call and connected with that Z-move. 6-3. Not even close. The stadium went in to a shocked silence (except for the Alolans making a lot of noise). I gave Lance the Damian Lillard wave
