How can Shoto live life this way?

Always in pain.

He had appreciated all the comfort he had gotten,

But nothing helped his constant pain.

He never had overthought this much in his entire life. 

Was it all for nothing?

3 years... 3 years in counting.

Ah, well, what can the poor man do to stop his lover when he doesn't know where she is?

"It's already 5? I guess I have to get ready, don't I..." Todoroki said to Midoriya as he had come to Todoroki's house earlier than planned.

Midoriya laughed as Todoroki put on his favorite suit.

"That looks nice on you, Todoroki." Midoriya said while Todoroki came out of his bathroom.

"Thank you, it was Y/n's favorite one I had....."

"She must've had the best style in outfits.... Uhm, do you want to grab your suit jacket?"

'Y/n loved it when I wore my suit without the jacket..'

"Ill take it, but I probably wont use it."

"Alright, you're ready? We have to go." Midoriya asked.

Shoto nodded, "Your car?"

"Yup, come on." Midoriya said smiling.

Mina, Bakugo, Kaminari, and Asui were waiting in a corner for Todoroki and Midoriya to come. They had something to tell him. It may mean something extremely important to him, or very uninteresting.

The two boys arrived! Finally, at last, something for Todoroki to get his mind off Y/n, or was it?

"Todoroki!! I have something to tell you!"

"Hello Mina, happy birthday, and what is it?"

"Thank you, but this may be important to you, or completely meaningless, so come with me."

Todoroki and Midoriya followed Mina to the group of people.

"Okay, Todoroki, we need you to never tell anyone this, this is between our group and our classmates only, no one else, promise?" Midoriya said. 

"I promise."

"Okay," Mina starts. "Earlier today, I got a phone call. It was a random number. I knew I probably shouldn't have so blindly answered it, but I did. It turns out the caller was a person we all know, Y/n."

"Wait what? Y/n called you?"

"She called me, Kaminari, Bakugo, Tsu, and Midoriya. Each time on our birthdays. I think she started doing this during Bakugo's birthday."

Todoroki didn't know how to respond. What was he supposed to say, that he was jealous? He looked at Midoriya, who was guilty smiling.

"We think that she's going to call each and every one of us on our birthdays. We'll find out for sure if she calls Ochako, because she'll tell me about it. If Y/n happens to call you, remember that the number is 335 873 5078 (Not a real number, please don't call it-)."

"Don't ask for where she is, or why she left, she wont tell you. All she's ever said about her location is, and I quote, 'Not where I want to be, that's for sure..' She wont say anything about how she's doing which I have no clue why. If you get that call, fucking enjoy it for what lasts, IcyHot." Bakugo explained.

"Thank- Thank you, thank you so much." Todoroki genuinely smiled.

"Shoto!!!"

Todoroki turned around as well as everyone else in confusion.

"Hey! I said only our class!" Mina screamed.        

                            2 hours later                    

Todoroki, sitting in a corner of a big party room, didn't know what to do. Midoriya was sitting next to him for comfort.

"You wanna go dance?" Midoriya asked with his chin up. "Best friend dance" He laughed.

"Best friend dance..." Shoto questioned

"Yeah! We dance as best friends!"

"I never fully learned how to dance properly.."

"You haven't? I've seen you dance with Y/n. It was a long time ago but I've seen it."

"We danced to classical music. Although I wish I could hear it again, it's not going to be played here." Todoroki said.

"Does classical music help calm you down, you look like you have a lot on your mind right now." Midoriya asked, genuinely worried.

"Classical music has a mix of sadness and peace for me. Oh, and by the way, Are party thoughts a thing? Because I'm having many, of which I really don't want."

"Like shower thoughts but at a party? I've never heard of it by anyone else, but sure, it can be." Midoriya explained.

"Well, I guess originality is pretty cool." Todoroki said with a non-enthusiastic tone. 

Midoriya laughed. "Well, I'll be getting some drinks or dancing, find me if you need me, alright?" Midoriya put up a fist.

Todoroki fist bumped him back and said, "Alright, have fun.."

"Thanks, and you should come to the dance floor too. I won't rush you though, go on your own pace."

"No problem Midoriya, and I might come to dance. If I've moved from my spot I'm most likely outside."

"Alright, bye then, meet back at 2 to go home (Does that sound too late? All the parties I've gone to last that long but all the younger kids just fall asleep around 12 or go home early      -w-)?"

Todoroki nodded. Midoriya then smiled and waved while walking to the dance floor.

Todoroki decided to fill a cup of punch up and hang outside for a bit.

There was a backyard type area where they were at, but it wasn't fenced. The last thing Todoroki remembered was the navy blue of the night sky, and then there was black.

Shoto had woken up to cold, hard concrete hitting his face. There were 2 sets of feet in front of him, and one foot keeping him down by his back. His hands were tied around his stomach with some sort of rope that kept people from using their own quirks. He was completely helpless at this point.

All the man could hope is that his best friend could save him soon...
