"I Hope to See You Again.." Todoroki x Female Reader

-"Don't You Dare Call Her a Monster!"-

"We'll find her."

Just remembering her soft, wonderful smile made Shoto break down in pain. The man couldn't even say her name without feeling some sort of agony. Y/n Aikara was truly what he lived for, but now she's gone, and the thought of ending it all has come to his mind.

Though he wants to, he truly believes he'll find her someday, any day, before he completely gives in to the emptiness in his heart.

Were you sad about this? Not exactly. Should it be that you could go back, you would without a second thought, but right now, it was to protect everyone. 

There was one reason and one reason only that you had to leave. One villain. There was one villain that was the reason you left. With all the madness of villains, you would gladly fight them off for the sake of the lives all around the country. The only thing you couldn't get passed was the one villain you despised most. 

He was a pretty famous villain, in fact most of the country knew him. He went by the name "Shigaraki." A while back, before he was so popular,  he had threatened to kill your mother. At first, it wasn't believable, all because you both were in different countries and he visibly explained he was in Japan. A few days later, she was no where to be found. Since your mother was a great hero in the US, it went all over the news that "A member of the Aikara family and amazing hero suddenly went missing."

How he had managed to kill your mother in Japan, you had no clue, but everything had changed when you moved there. 

"I will kill the one you all call Shoto Todoroki. So long as you leave with no reason to why, I'll spare the man and the ones you call friends"

Those were the last words he said before ending the call.

This was for Shoto, all your friends, and nothing more....

Ever since Y/n left, she'd been called names by everyone, claiming she was a horrible person for leaving and not protecting Saitama prefecture. True, that was the prefecture she protected, but she was not a horrible person.

                     [Flashback starts here]

"How could H/n (Hero Name) leave!? Such a disgrace..."

Shoto was walking past Saitama Prefecture, reminiscing on all the memories he and her had together.

'What?'

"She's a real monster.."

Shoto wasn't having it today.

"Don't you dare call her a monster!"

"Shoto!" A fan yelled from excitement, but also scared of the mad look in Todoroki's face.

"Why are you protecting her," The fans friend paused for a second, "She left you without a reason!"

By the time Shoto had come up with an answer, the person began talking..

"You know what, never mind, let's go Fuke"

As the person began to walk, the fan came up close and whispered something into Shoto's ear. 

"Sorry for him, he's really upset with the disappearance of H/n, he really liked her as a hero, and the only he can get his anger out is by calling her names, he doesn't mean it."

Shoto calmed himself down. "It's alright, now I have to go, take this autograph."

"Thank you Shoto! I'll be on my way as well, bye!"

Was it wrong of Shoto to want to shut everyone out and only care about Y/n? He didn't know, either way, he had a reputation to keep, and had really no choice.

"Hey, Midoriya, doesn't Uraraka have her phone number?"

"Y/n deleted Uraraka's contacts, as well as mine, and everyone else's. We can't even message her, I'm pretty sure she got a new phone."

"Oh, that makes sense."

"What do you mean Todoroki?"

"If she doesn't want to talk any of us she'd probably block all contact with each of us."

"Yeah, probably, I  just wish we had some way of contacting her.." Midoriya said.

There was a moment of silence between the two.

"Do you.... think she.. left.. because I hurt her.... somehow?"

Midoriya looked at Todoroki. He was a mess of a man. "I'm sure it wasn't you, if anything, it was probably me or one of our friends."

There was another awkward silence.

"So, uhm, I know this topic is hard for you to react to, so let's talk about something else, yeah? It's Mina's birthday tomorrow, I hear she's having a big party for anyone who wants to come from our class, want to go with me?"

"Party? Oh, sure, it'll probably help me get my mind off everything."

"That's the spirit!" Midoriya exclaimed. "It starts at 6, I'll come to your house around 5:30?"

"Alright, fine by me" Todoroki said.

He didn't seem amused, but he was really glad to have a friend like Midoriya. He was also pretty glad he could get out of the house and get distracted.

For some reason though, the only thing he could think of, was his words with the fan and the friend....

    Chapter 2 end
