Chapter 15

"After New York, we parted ways. Phana accepted the offer to run a hospital in Australia, while I decided to open my own clinic on the land that Ming bought after we married in Las Vegas. Beam took up the offer to work at Jamorhnoom Center hospital. Busy got to us. we rarely see each other, although we still communicate by telephone, "said Kit. "Since I know him, Beam has never had a close relationship with anyone. He avoids commitments. His sex life is only for one night stand, he never even bothered to remember the name of his partner. Beam is a free-spirited person and hates any ties, so since his parents divorced and neglected him.  He never had another friend, just us, plus Wayo-Phana's fiance and Ming," said Kit.

"Has Beam ever talked about this man-Stiff?" asked Park. He opened his cell phone and showed him the photo of Stiff. "Yesterday Beam saw this photo and he was suddenly hysterical."

Kit and Ming looked at the photo and then shook their heads.

"No. We don't know him," said Kit. "Is Beam related to this person? Who is he?"

Ming seems to be thinking about something. He frowned at Kit's arm. "Wait a moment. Phi Kit, do you remember, about a year ago, Phi Beam once called you and said that he might be in love with someone. Could it be this person?"

Kit was surprised and seemed to have remembered something again. "That's right," he said. He looked at Lam and Park. "He was so excited, but one thing that made me doubt that he was serious or joking at that time was, he said that the person he likes may not be aware or know, because they never actually met and talked."

Lam and Park look confused because they didn't get anything from Kit.

"Forth and Beam?" asked Lam.
