Third Person POV {Two scenes take place at the same time}
"Shit! I fucked up!" Xavier mutters, gripping his hair.
"Yah you fucked up bad! Why would you talk to her about this, you dickhead!" Leo rolls his eyes at Xavier. In return, Xavier glared at him that made the boys realize that he is going to take out all the anger on them.

"It is not only his fault! He is somewhat right! What if he says something in future and it triggers you even more?" Selena says, putting her hands on Madalyne's shoulder while the other girls are not having it. Right now, these four girls are sitting in one of the rooms while Sarah, Selena and Chloe give three different opinions to Madalyne.
"I know but I don't know how to tell him! This is going to bring lots of bad memories!" Madalyne sighs, as she unpacks her luggage. Apparently, Xavier told Lucas to bring her whole closet here.
"You don't have to talk about something you don't want to!" Chloe hisses.
"Who says I don't? I do! Trust me, I do. But I don't know how to!" Madalyne huffs out of frustration.

"Go fucking apologize to her then!" Joseph utters. The guys are hanging by the bonfire.
"I did!" Xavier says.
"Then why is she upset?" Charlie asks. Everyone immediately glares at him.
"I don't want to talk about it! Fuck off now!" Xavier says, pulling the hood of his jacket over his head.
"Do you like her?" This question takes him by surprise.

"Mady," Sarah stands up walking towards her friend, "Don't worry about it now, more panic attacks mean more distraction from your study and work, so I suggest you just stay away from things that trigger you, even if it includes Xavier. You worked so hard to come this far. Don't let these all wash away."
"She is right but don't ignore it. Just tell him stay the fuck away!" Madalyne rolls her eyes at what Chloe just said. Only if it was that easy.
"But we eventually have to talk about it!" Madalyne huffs.
"Why? Do you like him?" Madalyne falls in deep thoughts.

Xavier abruptly stands and walks towards the shore, leaving everyone smirking. Does he like her? Even he is looking for the answer.
'No I can't! We just slept a few times, went on a date one time. Does that mean I like her?' She does make him feel things he never felt before.
'No I don't! Just one fucking date! But I liked it! But-Fuckkkk!'
Xavier never took anyone on a date before. He never slept with a girl the second time. Does that mean Madalyne is special?
'I think it is better for me to stay away from her and focus on the company and my brothers' Xavier thinks as he walks along the shore. The glow of the moon falls on the quivering sea, making it glisten and sparkle.

Madalyne tenses up upon hearing these heart-clenching words. Can she like someone after what her previous partner did to her?
'No! I will be foolish if I compare Ian with Xavier! Xavier makes me feel good; whereas all Ian did was make me distant from my family and friends.'
"Can you guys leave me alone now?" Madalyne whispers to her friends who did not get their answer they are waiting for.
Madalyne cannot comprehend her relationship with Xavier. 'It is just a fling, right?'
'But- but- I don't know'

Both Madalyne and Xavier spend the sleepless night thinking about the answer. They have no idea what they feel but whatever it is feels new, feels good, feels unexplainable.
The only thing that Madalyne can think of is how Ian broke her heart as if it was nothing. She cannot help but recall how Ian hurt her feelings.
'How can I trust anyone after what Ian did?'
'I guess I was too naïve back then'
On the other side, Xavier changes his position on the bed every ten seconds. He cannot believe he is bothered by this simple question. This has to be a simple attraction.
'Then why do I think about her all the time'
'I cannot like her because I cannot understand her'
