Xavier's POV
"Thank you for coming," I shake hands with Mr. Kim, William's attorney. I offer him a seat in my office.
"Thank you for having me, it's an honor," He takes a seat.
"So you are my father's business lawyer but also a family lawyer, am I right?" I ask him.
"Y-yah.... How may I help you?" He stutters.
"None of my brothers or I were present at the Will reading of my late grandfather, so I want you to fill me with what the executor read," I tell him. I look over to his shoulder as Theo enters my office and leans against the door, closing it.
"Uh- uh, I must ask your father, at first," He tenses up.
"Aren't you the family attorney? You are supposed to work for everyone in the family then why ask my father?" I smirk as his face goes pale, "Look, I don't have all day, so hurry up."
"I- uh- sure!" Mr. Kim takes out a file from his bag and hesitantly opens it.
"So, as you know one of your grandfather's wishes was to leave his garden to Atlas Hendry and also the free land in Southampton to him," He takes a pause.
Since childhood, Atlas always loved our grandfather's garden back in London. So his wish was to leave the garden to his grandson after passing away. Harold, our grandfather, was always aware of our wants and wishes unlike his two sons. These two, and their wives, always thought about their money and reputation whereas my siblings, my cousins and I have always thought about our dreams. We all chose different lives where reputation isn't important.
"You better hurry up or you are going to lose your job," His body stiffens at my warning.
"The properties in Scotland and Wales are divided among your uncle and cousins; which includes the farms and mansions and a factory business. That leaves your father, you and your brothers with the properties in England, Ireland and also France and Italy."
"Please continue," Theo says as he walks over to the window.
"Um- as you know each person in this family needs a master's degree in order to inherit these mansions, factories and farms. Until the graduation, Xavier Hendry inherits the family casino business-,"
"What? I get the business?" I ask him dumbfounded as I look over to Theo who is as amused as me, "But I need to graduate right?"
"I don't know what you are talking about sir? Your family tradition denotes that you only can inherit luxuries once you graduate; not businesses," Mr. Kim informs. How is it possible? Technically, I don't own any family properties yet. The house that I live in has been bought from the money I earned from my company.
"Can you wait here for a second," I ask Mr. Kim who nods, "Theo, come outside!"
"I don't know what is happening," Theo says as he is confused just like I am. We close the door behind us.
"Wait- so all this time Teresa and William have been lying to us? Didn't they show us a paper where it was clearly written that we need to gradua- hold on...isn't the casino the only thing William and Teresa are getting the money from?" I hiss when I realize that they have been filling us with lies about the business things.
"Wait! I am still confused! So we get mansions and lands after bloody graduation; not businesses? Why?" Theo frowns. That's my exact question too. For years, our parents have been saying to us that we don't get anything until we get our degrees. What a fucked up shit! I have never seen any family hold these kinds of "traditions".
"Un-fucking-believable!" I let out a frustrating sigh as we entered my office again. So I am going to University for nothing? I am just fucking wasting my time for the the lies that have been feeding us.
So that means I don't have to go to Cambridge anymore. Fuck yes!
"Mr. Kim, please continue."
"So as I was saying that Xavier Hendry gets the casino business and other businesses and after graduation, you get all the mansions and properties in England, Ireland, France and Italy that were previously owned by your late grandfather Harold Hendry,"
"Oh shit!" I curse under my breath before the attorney continues.
"As for Theo Hendry, you inherit the farm business in Cornwall and all the farms and factories in England, Ireland, and Italy....... That's all for now, I'll inform you about the private transports, resorts, hotels and villas later. Thank you."
"Yah, thank you so much for coming by," We shake our hands with Mr. Kim as he departs, "Lucas! Please escort Mr. Kim out."

"I can't fucking believe this!" I growl as Theo, James and I are chilling by the pool. James is lost in his own world playing with my dog. I am ready to watch my parents suffer the way they made me when I take away everything from them.
"This shit is crazy! I knew we could find something off of the attorney, I knew it," Theo air-fists as we watch James crawls on the grass.
"Tomorrow, we bring Atlas back!" I look over to Theo, giving him hope.
"But- how? He doesn't listen easily," Theo sighs then jolts up, "I think I know how!"
