As I was being beamed up to Olympus by Poseidon aka scotty I saw all the beautiful building scattered all across the heavens however for some reason Artemis's palaces as shining brighter than usual, perhaps it was a full moon?

I was following my father up to the throne room of the Olympians until I finally asked "what are we doing here, exactly"

"Well to put it rather bluntly, Zeus has an offer you can't refuse" scratch my earlier statement about scotty my dad was now the godfather.

"Can you tell me what it is"

"I cannot"

"Thought so"

By this time we had reached the throne room and Poseidon grew to his godly size and sat upon his throne, everybody was staring at me apart from Aphrodite who was staring daggers at Athena, who was staring back at her and mouthing 'it wasn't my fault'

"Perseus!" Zeus thundered

"Uhh hi" I replied rather stupidly

"Ugh, no point in formalities then" Zeus replied "Perseus Jackson, we have come to the conclusion that after your recent.. mishap with Athena's daughter that you would reconsider our offer of joining our ranks"

"What!.. like becoming a god"

"Not just a god boy" Dionysus snapped "the 15th Olympian"

I felt like my heart had just frozen in place and I felt like I wasn't breathing. Probably because I wasn't, I have to be resuscitated by Apollo in the middle of the throne room of Olympus, how embarrassing.

"How can we even let another male onto Olympus, aren't there enough of you already" Artemis whinnied while staring at me with murderous intent. Wow I never realised how silver her eyes were even though I had a sneaking suspicion they might be the last thing I see after she kills me. I realised I had been starting for a rather long time so o shifted my attention back to zeus.

I remembered all the times I'd spent at camp half blood all the amazing times I'd spent with Annabeth, the under water kiss and being thrown into the canoe lake.. only for her to throw it away with her best friends half brother.

The whole reason I denied the chance to become immortal in the first place was Annabeth and now I had no reason to stay mortal, now I could be with Tyson and not worry about him after I'm gone. Now I could make sure he didn't get hurt.

I realised I was just standing with my mouth open and Apollo clearly thought I was about to collapse again since he was on the edge of his seat.

"Yes. I will be come a god" I turned to Dionysus "an Olympian god"

"Good, rise Olympians" all the gods stood up, I could feel power flow though me I felt the sudden urge to go backpacking on a mountain in England for some reason, maybe Ben Nevis, no how would I get to the UK that quickly.

Everyone and everything went quite until Zeus broke the uneasy silence "arise, Perseus the brand new Olympian god of loyalty, adventure and exploration"

I wondered why these would be what i was the god of but then I realised over half the quests I had been on involved me sneaking out of camp and adventuring and exploring new and uncharted Territory, my trip to Alaska with frank and hazel or when I went to the sea of monsters or went to find Annabeth at mount tam all those years ago. And the loyalty aspect was obvious, it was my fatal flaw.

I quickly grew to the size of the rest of the gods in the room and a new throne appeared next to hestia, I sat down, I felt incredibly out of place but that was alright I knew I would get used to it eventually. I saw Artemis staring at me with hate in her eyes and a very sharp looking dagger in her hand, well now I know not to get on her bad side unless I want that dagger at my throat ( which I did not ) I simply gave her a lopsided grin and waved like a mental patient to try and give the effect that I wasn't deathly afraid of her.
