Pertemis: the new Olympian

Chapter four

I came down to camp half blood two days after the iris message to Chiron, I had spent those days thinking of the requirements for the adventurers.

No.1: must be male
No.2: be 11 or over
No.3: must be approved to go by Chiron

I know it not many rules, but I didn't want it to be as cut and dry as the hunters. We can still have relationships and you don't have to leave your family nor hate the opposite sex.

I teleported into Chirons office at the big house around 7:00 am (around the time everyone would be waking up) "hi Chiron"

"Gods, Percy, I wasn't expecting you this soon"

"Well I thought I should get a head start" I replied "do you think you can tell everyone at breakfast or at the amphitheater"

"Of course"

Time skip

As I entered the dining pavilion all eyes gravitated towards me as if I was a god, oh wait I am, I forgot. I was standing by the entrance when Chiron started talking.

"Campers! As you may have realised, we have a special guest today, that some of you may know already. Lord Perseus, the 15 god of Olympus"

Every jaw in the pavilion simultaneously dropped to the floor, some in shock, some with pride like 'I used to be his friend, well we had on conversation, 7 years ago, but still!' And some people were passing golden drachmas to each other, were they betting on weather I'd become a god or not?

"Percy has gained permission from Zeus himself, to form a club of immortal male adventurers similar, to the hunters of Artemis" Chiron carried on "he will be holding auditions for this group in the amphitheater at noon, so if you are interested, head there at that time"

The whole room burst with excitement, conversation and weariness about weather it was a trick or not.

Eventually the ruckus died down and all eyes turned to me again, I just nodded and told everyone what Chiron already had to confirm it.

Later when everyone was sitting in the amphitheater, me and Chiron were standing in the centre and he gestured for me to take charge.

"Does any body want to volunteer for the adventure"

Several hands shot up and others raised there's slowly and unsure.

I pointed to a wooden haired boy near the front, he looked about 15. " hi my name is Jake, I am a son of Apollo and Uhh I guess I'd like to be the first to join this adventure, if you'd have me that is, lord Perseus"

"Please don't call me lord, or Perseus, Percy is fine and I'd love to have you, lieutenant Jake of the adventure"

"Really, lieutenant? Already?"

"You're the first person to join to I guess you have to be"

"Cool!"

I pointed to two big and beefy guys, one slightly more plump than the other but both could still crack your skull like an egg. The plumper one said his name was Conor and the other one said his name was Liam and they were both sons of ares the plumper one looked 15 and the other looked 14

A dirty blonde kid in the middle row of seats said his name was Charlie and that he was a son of Hermes, he was about 14 and 5 foot 6

A tall brunette boy with curtains for his hair said his name was jack and that he was a son of Hephaestus. (I wouldn't have guessed since the kid was pretty attractive in his own right) standing at about 6 foot 1,

There were several other kids that were accepted into the adventure, at least 20 more kids between the ages of 12 and 16 and they all seemed ver enthusiastic about joining along with me.

"Thank you! Everyone for coming" the new recruits were all standing beside me waiting for orders, I turned around, pointed to the door and said "welp, time to go"

Another time skip

We had left the camp for a few hours now and only at this point did Jake ask "so, are we like immortal unless were killed now? You forgot to mention"

"Oh yeah I suppose I did forget, yes you're all immortal unless killed now"

"Sweet"
