Percy POV:
I will admit, I may have gone a slight bit overboard by staying overnight with Artemis but I don't care. I am totally falling for the eternal virgin goddess. Am I going to be turned into a goat or something now?
Time skip
I woke up and walked to the food hall where the hunters and adventurers were engaged in minor squabbles throughout the room, but nothing serious, so the usual.
Artemis was sitting that the end of the left table. My heart did a small somersault when I looked at her. When she looked me she took a sharp breath and quickly looked away. I wondered why.
She stood up from her table and walked towards me. "We need to talk" her hair was in a tight ponytail and it smelled like cinnamon.
"I agree" I told her.
We walked out of the food hall, I noticed that the hunters and adventurers had halted their arguments in favour of watching us walk out of the room.
When we reached the outside of the food hall. I was about to talk but then Artemis beat me to it. "I spoke to Aphrodite last night" she said quietly.
I did not expect that. She spoke to Aphrodite! Like the love goddess Aphrodite? No way. Artemis hates her. "What did she say" I said nervously.
My heart was racing. Whatever she said next would determine everything. Shut up I thought to myself. I know she's a virgin goddess, I know it would be a massive Olympian level scandal.
"Percy... I want to be with you."
I felt like the sky had just been lifted of my shoulders again.
"But"
Oh no. Before she could say anything I cut her off with a kiss. A long kiss. She didn't pull away. Neither did I. She threw her arms around my neck and I put mine around her waist to pull her closer.
We finally pulled away from each other. Wow. I never knew being a god could be so cool.
"Percy. Can I show you something" Artemis asked me.
"Of course" I responded.
The world around us suddenly dematerialised and we reformed atop a tall mountain peak overlooking miles of open ocean.
"What is this place?" I asked.
"It's a place I would come to to reflect" she told him "I came here a lot during the giant war because I could actually be at peace."
I didn't say anything, I just looked into her eyes, her mesmerising eyes. "Annabeths appointment to Olympus has split the gods apart"
Artemis raised an eyebrow when I said this. "How can you be sure?" She asked.
"Apollo told me" I responded
"Ahh" she replied "when?"
"A few days ago in a McDonald's"
Artemis chuckled
"We need a plan arty." I told her rather solemnly "the friction on Olympus won't be good for any of us and... whatever this is on top of it"
"What kind of plan?"
"One where we both live and Olympus still stands by the end of it"
"You're right, we should have a meeting. How many gods do you think will be on our side?"
"Apollo said that himself, my father, hades, Hermes and maybe Demeter are safe bets and that Athena, Aphrodite, Ares, and Dionysus are on the other side, he also mentioned that Hephaestus will likely be pressured into being on Annabeths side due to his marriage to Aphrodite, no matter how troubled it is."
"The others will want to stay neutral, hell, a civil war on Olympus could destroy the world, Zeus and the others are smart to stay out of it lest the world be brought to its knees" as Artemis finished, an air of depression fell over both of them.
"Well arty, if the worlds going to end, I'm glad it'll end when I'm with you"
