Iduna POV

I step out of the carriage as I straighten my creases of my lavender dress I have been wearing for days. Things just escalated fast till it seemed to go according to what I have plan, though the ways getting through was indeed unexpected. I never thought I would ever meet Lord Husan again, let alone be standing beside this magnificent abode beside him.

Though I am a having a shudder of mixed feeling about this whole arrangement, I still couldn't believed that he willingly did this for me, but why?

"Are you sure you want this Iduna?" Lord Husan held on my arm as I nodded, his hands slowly slipping off as we went in from the back of the castle.

"Sir." A pump lady wearing a full pine green outfit came and greet us, her eyes slowly shifted towards me and the grin of her lips grew.

"Grete, I introduced a lady in our previous papers. This is my god-daughter, Iduna. Please take good care of her." Lord Husan smiled as I stunned, we never made an agreement and even talked about this. But why did he need to do this for me?

Find your family.

I could see the grin as he pats on my shoulders, Perhaps this is some connection we had. Like how I had with Gale and Lycanwolf. Fate did like playing and I thank them for it.

I bid my goodbyes with Lord Husan, though I am not sure when we would ever meet as he didn't say anything much, but hopefully one day.

"Iduna Bessford? Are you related to Marilyn?" She asked looking confused.

"Yes-" I hesitated whether to tell Grete about my affair, but I needed help in navigating the castle and having the least chance in bumping into Marlin.

"Please don't tell her I am here, I came here working without her knowing." I uttered, hoping that she would keep it a secret. Thankfully she nodded.

"I admire your courage Miss Iduna. I wasn't this brave at your age." She sighed happily as she told me of her stories working for the castle.

We then started off with a tour around the castle, since I was a late applicant. I realized that the notice placed on the papers was meant to be for the next year's batch, if there wasn't Lord Husan intervention, I would have to wait for a full year long.

The castle was much larger than I remembered, We started off with the stables and into the square, which usually host annual Yule celebrations. We then head into the castle as I gape at the intricate designs of the hall coated with lacquer to show the colors to their fullest potential.

She then talked about the ranks working in the castle, there are the events staffs, kitchen staffs and service staffs. With Marlin, Olena and Emilie taking charge of the department respectively and ultimately Kai acting as head butler, taking charge of the whole castle. I then only knew Marlin worked for the castle before deciding to resign 4 years ago, now that's some interesting fact.

We then stumbled across similar rooms, there is a specific purpose for each room, like having tea, having luncheon, playing instruments, dancing and even viewing portraits. Grete then simplified by categorizing them as drawing room. We then passed by the councils chambers and the ballroom. It reminds me of the adventure that Agnarr and I had as the walls of the ballroom started reenacting the moment where Elsa and Anna played with Olaf, I held my yearning of them as we moved on to other halls.

The second floor consist more on spare rooms, different wings and suites which was neatly tidied up with scent of crocuses. There is also a library located in midst of all the rooms, there perhaps around 30 so rooms as I tried counting. Then there is a third and fourth floor, which was rarely headed up by newer staffs as it is the private wing for the arendellian royal family, though I find it irony that Agnarr would be the only one using it.
