Iduna POV

Dear Marilyn,

It's freezing cold in Hastigaths, how is arendelle? Perhaps you could answer me when I reach home.

I should be on my way home when you read this. And I am sure you are rambling about the promise I made, I will pull the ship back if I had to to reach on time for the Yule and Log day.

As I said in my previous letters. Hastigaths is a colourful town with trinkets you may appreciate. I promise one day when we save up enough krones, we will enjoy the summer time of Hastigaths and chocolate I may add.

Not to worry about presents, I have tons of souvenirs such as the- it's called a a gift for a reason.

So get the log burning, with our hot cocoa. Please do not invite Edwin, really don't. I would like to enjoy peace just for a moment.

Love,

Bessford Iduna.

Placing the quill down, letting the ink dry as I laid back on the armchair. This was the probably the fourth short letter I wrote today. I then soothe in the peace of the town till I heard a cough.

"Iduna. Physician orders." I grumbled as I held on Miss Eacker, slowly walking back to the bed I laid for 2 weeks straight.

"May I?" I nodded as she pulled up my chemise to inspect the wounds. It wasn't that bad, though I thought I was going to succumb that day. Thankfully there was no infection and they stitched up nicely.

More scars... At least my life is still intact.

"The Queen and the butler came by last night. They should be arriving soon." I suppressed my laugh as Ms Eacker shot a look, forcing me to swallow that laugh.

The bell rang as three silhouettes entered the practice, Miss Eacker patched up my wound, pulled my chemise down and quickly laid a blanket over me.

"Look what I brought." Brianna shook the bag of candies. Mr Eacker then came, holding a bottle of medicine which I have been having the past few days.

"Your majesty. And...." Both physicians greeted Brianna as he hesitated at Agnarr. I could sense the tense between Agnarr and Mr Eacker, seemingly they knew each other before I do.

"My butler, he doesn't really talk." I bit my lips, swallowing that laugh again. I could see Agnarr scowling as his eyes came to me, my eyes then flinched to avoid contact.

"Miss Iduna, it's time." Mr Eacker then poured a spoon full of bitter as I quickly swallowed it down, I felt a block of candy on my hand pop it in my mouth to ease the bitterness.

"Her wounds are patching up, she could be discharged in a week's time." He said.

Just one more week, and another for travelling back to arendelle. Maybe I could be back before Lycanwolf returns.

The door to the practice as a someone entered. I grinned seeing the familiar long hair fluffed up and his face perspiring, looking red.

"I thought you had left." He panted and shook his head, holding the bedpost as support.

"Not before seeing you." I then saw the bag slinging across his shoulders, he is leaving today.

"Could I get a hug?" I held my arms out, but got a handshake instead.

"A shake would be appropriate for your condition." I nodded slightly as he passed me a small slip of paper.

"Would you write?" He asked. I opened the slip as I saw his address.
