A Matter of the Heart

So, why am I writing this, when I have a bunch of other projects? I have one thing to say:

Basically, I mentioned how I had a bunch of Turf war book ideas, and Maya deman- I mean, requested for Turf war sacrif- I mean books. So I decided to fill out her dema- I mean request

So here we are now, with me yeeting out this Kingdom AU turf war book, dedicated to Maya, filled with ships. I've seen a lot of oneshots for Kingdom AU turf war, but no books, so here's the first!

( Also go follow her, MayaTheWatcher!!! (Yes, Maya I will promote you, every single chapter. You wanted this, now you must deal with this))

Anyways, when I was first told to do with, I didn't have that much stuff for the AU, so I worked on it a bit, and now I'm wondering if I have too much-

So this is just some notes\warnings and info for yall!

Notes\Warnings:

- People will get injured (This is war for Void's sake) but no major character deaths ( f o r  n o w . This is a gift to the angst goddess after all)

- There shall be shipping. The title\description kinda gives it away, but still-

- Angsty stuffs: fights\shouting matches

- More Angsty stuffs: Self doubt\Self hate

- This AU has magic; Ex. Scar is a Vex, X and Exy are Voidkins etc.

- Another thing is, in the AU technology exists, but isn't used that much.

The confirmed ships will be: Stresskall, Beefralis (Might change)

The developing ships will be: Scardubs, Bdoc, Convex, Gritho, and maybe HEX or BadEX..? Not sure about that one (Tell me if you want it in the story)

Extra info:

The kingdom is called Cerian (credit to laughingJaxs for the name!) and is ruled by Scar Goodtimes

It's national anthem is called, "Call out for freedom" (Yes I made a fricking national anthem for this, I told you I put too much thought into it-)

The term, "Cry\Call out mycelium!" means to support peaceful change. The term comes from this "Call out for Freedom / Once, at the very least / Call out Mycelium /  Change their hearts with peace", which are lyrics from "Call out for Freedom"

History:

The kingdom was ruled by a king, who was more like a tyrant. This lead to a revolution, called The Cerian Revolt, and the king was usurped. After the Cerian Revolt, many of the noble families made claims to the throne, almost leading to civil war.

Of course, everyone knew that that nation couldn't withstand two wars so close after each other, so they settled the problem with wordsIt was said that there would be a council that would pick from the sons and daughters of the families, that were eligible for, or wanted  the throne.

Time skip to about 100 years later, when Xisuma Void, became king. His sibling Ezra Xanthus Void (Who preferred to go by, Xanthus, Xan, Ex, or Exy.) became the main general of the royal army.

Near the beginning of his rule, a group known as the New Hermit Order, or the NHO formed (Is the 'N' lowercase or uppercase-) . The NHO had the ability to form 'minor' laws, like tariffs, and taxes. The leaders of the NHO were Doc, Etho, Beef, and Bdubs.

Some people didn't like the decisions that the NHO were making. A lot of them disagreed with Xisuma becoming King, claiming his family line was too 'pure' (His family was composed of almost all royal/noble blood), and that he wouldn't understand the problems of the poor.

Another revolution broke out, lead by a young man, (and assassin) named Iskall. The revolution only succeeded in knocking down the NHO, Bdubs, Doc and Beef, returning to their jobs, and Etho going on a long voyage. (There weren't many battles in the war, it was mostly threats, and trying to get the people on your side)

A year later another revolution took place, this one aiming to reverse some of the NHO's policies and to replace Xisuma with someone else. This one was lead by Grian, a young noble, who's brother  Robert, nicknamed Robo, was in charge of their lands. (Yes, it's Robot Grian. They also have a younger brother called Nathan Paige Griffin Xelqua. Wonder who that could be)

This revolution succeeded in both of it's goals. They replaces Xisuma with, Bdubs' (Who had been a supporter of the war) suggestion Scar Goodtimes. Some people were suspicious about Bdubs being the one suggesting Scar, because of the NHO thing and because Scar was Bdubs' beau (Beau is an old fashioned word for boyfriend) Eventually everyone accepted Scar, since his blood line had more 'poor' blood in it. (Once more, there weren't many battles in the war, it was mostly trying to get the people on your side)

Still as the years pass, some more and more people become unsatisfied. War seems to be brewing once again...
