AUTHOR'S POV
After the hospital, the friends left for their respective houses. Agastya was working the whole night for his new project. He slept by 1 am only. The next morning, Lopa woke up from bed and did all her morning chores. After that she went downstairs and started making breakfast for everyone. that time her mother-in-law came.
"Lopa, how many times I told you, don't stress yourself. But you are not at all listening to me", she scolded her lovingly.
"Please mom, let me do this atleast. Dad asked me not to enter the office too. I am getting bored. I just made aloo paratta with dahi nothing much as Adhu likes it a lot", she said smiling at her MIL.
"For Adhu or for Agu?", Her MIL asked with a smirk. Lopa blushed.
"Mom, let me go and wake up Adhu. I don't know what drama that girl is going to pull today for not going to school", Lopa said shaking her head.
"She is just a kid Lopa", her MIL supported her granddaughter as usual. Lopa went to their room and started waking up Adhamya.
"Mumma lemme sleep", she said in a sleepy voice.
"Adhu, wake up. It is time already. You have exam today. Half a day only school. I made your favorite aloo parata for you", after hearing the name aloo parata immediately Adhamya woke up. She didn't want to wake up Agastya as she knows he slept a bit late. She gave bath to Adhu and changed into her school uniform. Adhu have to wear her shoes now. But Lopa's five month old bump is not helping her at all to bend now. She felt uncomfortable. She is going to enter sixth month soon.
"Mumma, it's fine. I will ask granny to put shoes for me", Adhu said cutely. Lopa knows that her MIL has back pain issues so she didn't want to trouble her.
"No, it's fine. I will do it.", saying this she again tried to bend when a hand stopped her. She looked at Agastya who just woke up from his sleep.
"How many times I have told you not to bend Lops? You are behaving like a kid nowadays. Let me put shoes for my princess", Agastya moved her a bit and started putting shoes for Adhamya. Lopa's heart warmed looking at the scene. "The Agastya Aloknanda, who is very arrogant for the outer world is putting shoes for his daughter taking her tiny feet in his hands". It is true that every daughter is a princess for their father.
"Here, I done it. You take her for breakfast Lops, I will get ready and come down. Lopa I am planning to shift our room downstairs. Since you are going to enter your sixth month soon, it is not good for you to climb staircase all the time", Agastya said as a responsible husband. Lopa gave a nod to him. She wondered how much life has changed them. First, they were enemies, then suddenly their relationship took a U-Turn and they became husband and wife. Now, they are proud parents of a kid and one on the way. She smiled remembering all their memories.
"Are you dreaming about my son dear?", her MIL asked. Lopa nodded negatively. She fed Adhu and packed some snacks for her.
Agastya came down and had his breakfast. "All the best Adhu. Do your exam well", Lopa said and kissed Adhamya's cheeks. Adhu kissed her mother's cheeks and her tummy. "Take care baby brother", she said to the tiny little being which is growing inside Lopa.
"Lopa, you don't have to pick Adhu from school. I will pick her up after exams because I will have my lunch in home only today", Agastya said.
"Ok Agu. Take care. All the best for your presentation", she said.
"Don't you think you forget something", Agastya asked. Lopa raised her eyebrows asking what.
"This wifey", he pecked Lops lips and asked her to take care of herself too.
