Valentine's Day
Venice's POV
Jason told me to dress nice today, because we're going somewhere special today after school.
"So where are we going?" I ask for like the millionth time.
"It's a surprise, love. Now stop asking." Jason says, walking me over to a beautiful, red 2013 Ferrari 458 Spider.
"Who's car is this?" I question.
"One of my dad's cars. I thought it'd be nice to drive something more romantic for today." Jason explains.
"Rich kids be like "what car should I drive today?"" I joke, gaining a chuckle from Jason.
"Just get in the car, dork." Jason says, opening the door for me.

While I look out the window in absolute boredom, Jason turns on the radio. As he turns on the radio, Adorn by Miguel begins to play.
"I haven't listened to this song in forever." I say, intrigued.
"You like this song, huh?" Jason asks, turning down the radio a bit.
I begin to reach for the nob to turn it back up, until Jason grabs my hand and begins to sing.
These lips can't wait to taste your skin, baby, no, no
And these eyes, yeah, can't wait to see your grin, ooh ooh baby
Just let my love
Just let my love adorn you
Please baby, yeah
You gotta know
You gotta know
You know that I adore you
Yeah baby
Jason continues to sing, making eye contact every time he stopped at a red light, but holding my hand throughout the entire song.
"Did you like my singing, baby?" Jason asks, giving me sweet eyes.
"Yes, babe. You were amazing." I tell him.
"Not as amazing as you." Jason replies, kissing me softly.
After what seems like forever, Jason finally pulls up into a parking lot of a huge building.
As we walk in, hand in hand, I begin to recognize where we are.
"We're at the Detroit Institute of Arts!" I nearly shout, as I pat on Jason's arm in excitement.
"I haven't been here since I was a little girl." I explain, bringing him into a tight hug.
"I know, sweetheart. You told me." Jason chuckles.
"Awww, you remembered." I say, squeezing him even tighter.
"Of course I did." Jason says, before lightly kissing my forehead.
Jason and I spend the evening admiring the art and each others company.
After my tummy begins to rumble, I look at my floral watch, to see that it is 7:00.
"You ready to head to dinner?" Jason asks.
I simply nod, as Jason leads us outside.
"You cold?" Jason asks, looking at the goosebumps that began to spread onto my arms.
Once again I nod, causing Jason to take off his jacket and place it onto my shoulders.
We make our way back to the car and drive to this nice looking place called The Whitney.
While we walk in, I begin to stare in awe. The scenery is just absolutely beautiful.
When we take our seat I grab a menu, then put it back down.
"Jason, this is expensive." I warn him.
"It's nothing. Pick whatever you want." Jason says.
I decide to keep it simple and order mac & cheese.
"Sweetheart, that's just a side." Jason informs me.
"Yeah, I know. The price is enough for a whole meal." I mumble, causing Jason to laugh a bit.
Jason orders his meal, which comes to like $50 and i just look at Jason like he's lost it.
"What's wrong?" Jason asks.
"You're really gonna pay that much for a meal for one person?" I ask.
"Why not?" Jason says, shrugging.
I just roll my eyes and try to start up a new converstion.
When the food gets here, I look at my simple bowl of mac & cheese, then look at Jason's large plate of steak and lobster.
"You want some?" Jason asks, pointing at his food, then smirking. God, I love it when he does that.
A smile dances across my face, causing me to put my head down.
"Look at me, beautiful." Jason demands.
I look up and see Jason with a fork filled with steak on it.
"Eat it." He demands once more, putting the fork to my face.
I do what he says and eat it.
Jason then chuckles to himself and begins to eat the lobster off of his plate.
After about 2 hours of eating and talking, we decided its time to head home.

It was about to reach 10:00 in just a few minutes, and Jason and I were on my block, slowly cruising our way to my house.
"I really don't want you to go yet." Jason confesses, looking over at me.
"Neither do I." I confess.
"Come on, let's walk the rest of the way." Jason says, stopping the car.
As we slowly begin our short walk down the street, Jason and I start to talk about nothing.
"You're so short." Jason teases.
"Whatever. You're just so tall, Mr. NBA." I reply, playfully pushing him.
"You know you love me." Jason teases again.
"You're right... I love you." I confess.
"Oh really?" Jason asks, stopping me and intertwining our fingers.
"Yup. I love your irritating ass more than anything." I say, causing Jason to laugh.
"And I love your irritating ass just as much." I Jason says, making me laugh.
I then reach onto tippy toes and pull Jason down into a passionate, lingering kiss.
Jason then bites my lip, causing tongue entrance into my mouth.
As Jason and I fight for dominance through our kiss, Jason begins to explore himself throughout my body, by moving his hands up my dress.
After a small moan escapes my mouth, I quickly move myself away from Jason.
"What's wrong?" Jason asks with disappointment.
"I'm not ready for that stuff." I warn.
"I'm sorry, babe." Jason says, looking embarrassed.
I give him a quick kiss, reassuring it's fine, and continue our walk.
"So... I guess this is goodnight." Jason says, walking me to my door.
"Yeah." I reply in a sad tone.
"Don't be sad, beautiful. I'll see you on Monday, alright?" Jason says, leaning down to kiss me real quick.
"I'll try to call you later tonight, but if I don't, I hope you have sweet dreams." Jason says, before my mom opens up the door to reveal us standing in the cold.
"Did you want to come in?" My mom asks Jason.
"No, ma'am. I was just telling Venice goodnight. Night Ven." Jason says, pulling me into a hug.
"Night Mrs. Knowles." Jason says, waving through the see through window door thing.
Jason then begins his short walk until he reaches the red car.
I sigh, as I walk through the door and get ready for bed and tell my mom how my day went.
As I get ready to go to bed, I look at my phone to see a missed call and text from Jason.
Jason called about 30 minutes ago, then he texted me 'goodnight' with a heart about 10 minutes ago.
Knowing he's probably sleep or something, I simply text 'goodnight' back, then find myself quickly falling into peaceful slumber.
