Summer break

Venice's POV

I'm spending the weekend at the Ross's summer house.
Apparently every summer, all of the Ross family come together for the last week of June at their summer estate.
"You ready to hit the road?" Dr. Ross asks, as I nod in excitement.
I'm riding with Dr. Ross, his wife, and Jasmine. Jason and Jade are riding with their brother, Justin. And Luke is on a plane right now, coming back to Michigan with his mom and dad. And the rest of the Ross family should already be there, claiming rooms.
---
When we get there, I look to see some middle age women on the front patio, young women tanning on the front lawn, next to some little boys playing swords, and boys that looked around my age, on dirt bikes.
"I'll show you around" Jason says, grabbing my suitcase in one hand, and grabbing my hand in the other.
"You can take the one right across from me... So it'll be easier to sneak into my room at night." Jason says, but whispers the last part into my ear.
When we get back downstairs, Jason shows me to his family.
When he's done introducing me to the adults, he introduces me to his cousins. After everyone got settled in, we prepared for dinner.
After dinner, Jason took me into the family room with the rest of his cousins and siblings, and we all just watched tv and talked until I feel asleep on Jason.
I'm woken up by Jason, telling me to follow him upstairs, to the bedrooms.
He ushers me to my bedroom and kisses me on the forehead before whispering goodnight.
-morning--
I was woken up by Jasmine barging into my room and telling me to get up.
When I got up, we went downstairs for breakfast.
Once I was too full to take another bite, I excuse myself and get ready for the day.
I took a shower and did the rest of my hygiene things, then picked out what to wear from my suitcase.
I decided to wear a black tank top that says 'New York, Paris, London', denim shorts, black converse high tops, and some bracelets.
When I'm done putting my clothes on, I go back into the bathroom and brush my hair into a side ponytail.
"Hey, cutie." Jason says, as he leans against the doorway.
I giggle and playfully push him out of my way.
"So what are we gonna do today?" I ask.
"I was thinking I could show you how to ride a dirt bike, then we could play some hoop, then go to the lake for a swim." Jason says, trailing behind me.
"That all sounded nice... Until you got to the swimming part. I can't swim. Plus, I didn't even pack a swimsuit." I confess.
"Neither does my sister. Maybe you could just watch me shirtless." Jason says, winking at me.
"Get over yourself." I say, playfully rolling my eyes.
Jason pretends to be offended, then wraps his arm around my waist.
----
When we got outside, we already saw some of the guys ridding around on their dirt bikes.
I observe, until it's my turn to ride.
"Alright, so you use blah blah blah..." Was all I heard coming out of Luke's mouth. I watched them already, so I think I know what to do.
I begin to ride around with some of them, and then they go faster. We end up having a big race and I'm surprisingly in the lead.
I soon see a huge tree approaching me. I try to stop, but I forgot what to do.
"Help! I forgot how to stop!" I shout.
"Use the breaks! They're like bikes!" Luke shouts.
"I don't know where they are!" I shout again.
Luke eventually catches up to me, and shows me the breaks.
I break hard, right before I can run into the tree.
"How do you not know where the breaks are?! Have you ever even rode a bike?!" One of Jason's snobby cousins shouted.
"No... I haven't." I confess, feeling embarrassed.
The boy begins to laugh, and Jason comes along and pushes him over.
"Come on. Wanna play basketball now?" Jason asks, grabbing my hand.
I nod and follow, until we're on a big basketball court, right next to a tennis court.
"Wow, your family sure is rich." I blurt out my mouth.
Jason chuckles, as he gets a basketball.
"I guess you could say that. We're just a big family filled with very successful people." Jason says, handing me the ball.
"You want me to go first?" I ask.
"Yeah. I know you wouldn't be able to take it from me, so I wanna go easy on you by letting you go first." Jason say, smiling down at me.
---
This boy said he'd go easy on me. Right now we're 30-2. Let me just tell you, I'm not the one with 30.
I stomp off the court, getting annoyed at this point.
"Where you going? We just started." Jason says.
"You said you'd go easy on me." I say.
"I'm sorry, you're right. Come back, this time we'll play teams and you'll be on my team." Jason says, sprinting towards me.
His cousins come over and we choose teams. Jason chooses me, followed by Luke, Jasmine, and one of his other cousins.
Jason, being the show off he is, scores just about every point. When the ball finally got to me, i rush down the court. Knowing im not the best shot, i think of how im gonna try to possition it in. Just then, jason comes out of nowhere and picks me up, so i can dunk the ball. Jason then puts me down, and i giggle i bit when i accidentally kick him.
After 20 more minutes of crushing our opposing team, they call quits and we go inside for lunch.
"What's for lunch?" I ask, sitting at the big dinning room table.
"I mean I can be if you want some of this." Jason whispers in my ear.
Oh my God, when did Jason turn into such a perv.
"I think I'll pass." I say, getting up and grabbing a slice of watermelon from the big fruit bowl.
After lunch, we went to the lake. I was in awe, as I saw their big yacht. On the side it read S.S. ROSS.
We all piled in. Me, Jasmine, and some of her cousins all sat by the shade and talked.
All the boys went swimming, except Jason. He was fishing with his dad and grandfather. It was a cute site. From the eldest Jason to the youngest, they all stood there, enjoying themselves.

Jason's POV

This is probably my favorite part of the trip. When me, my dad, and grandfather fish on our yacht and talk.
"Come over here, guys. Think I caught a big one." My grandfather says, rolling in a big fish.
We unhook it together, then put it in the large cooler, along with all the other fish we caught.
"You think we should eat this one tonight, or donate it to the soup kitchen when we get back later in the week?" My grandpa asks me.
"Let's donate it." I say proudly.
"That's my boy." My dad says even more proud.
Moments like this, I wouldn't change for all the money the world.
