Author-san: I was finally able to write a story for your request Panzeronthelake34 ! I can't believe it took me so long. I only managed to get minor key points to Saori's personality so like most of my Girls Und Panzer oneshots, I apologize if the characters are a bit off.

It was a bright cheery day unlike your mood. The sun's rays flew everywhere as it's scent filled everyone's noses.

"What do you plan on doing on your birthday?" Your mother's worried voice said over the phone. You frowned at her question as your brows knitted close together and visible displeasure was evident on your face.

Currently, you were talking to your mother over the phone. Over the year, you had transferred schools for a scholarship and the easiest way to get to the school was to live in the neighborhood. Therefore, you were away from your family.

Giving a small sigh, you switched your phone to your other ear and replied, "I'm not really sure."

"Well in any case, I don't think we can make it there in time. The day after, we could... I'm really sorry. We promised to visit for your birthday and now here I am saying I can't." It was obvious that your mother was feeling bad about it but it's not like you could do anything about it. Don't think you'd be able to convince a business corporation to let one of its best employees leave a few days in busy season.

"Don't worry about it, mom. Your work needs you and besides, I can spend it with you the next day," you told her as you tried to sound as fine as you could.

The talk didn't last any longer as you gave her your wishes and ended the call. You stood there phone on your hand as your arm swung.

"Hi~," a voice suddenly greeted as gentle small arms reached out to your shoulders. Feeling the weight behind your back, you faced the person and spoke.

"S-Saori, you surprised me," you told her as you internally panicked to get the girl off of you. Smirking at you, she hangs on to you tighter and asks, "who were you talking to?"

"M-my mother," you stuttered, desperately trying your best to stay calm from the skin ship.

'My back, my back!' You internally agonized.

"Eh~ you're blushing so much, Y/N. Are you thinking of dirty thoughts?" She teased you.

"No, I'm not!" your voice squeaked. Looking at the girl, you clearly blushed and tried to keep a straight face to prove your point.

"Hehe~ you're so cute, Y/N," the orange haired girl continued to tease you.

Often she acted like this towards you. Very open and cheery. Saori didn't like keeping secrets and was very touchy with you too. It wasn't like you two were dating and as a guy, you've always found it concerning how she acted this close to you. Well, you weren't really going to do anything bad to her but of course, boundaries were still important mostly since people had their 'perspectives' on things.

Besides, you'd die of jealousy if you ever find out that you aren't the only guy she acts like this towards to— finding out would crush you. What a scary feeling.

"Man, stop teasing me," you groaned as a reply.

"Alright, alright. By the way, next week Saturday, let's go out and watch that one movie you've always wanted to watch. My treat."

"Seriously? Is that alright?" Your eyes shone and ears perked. The sides of your mouth grinned a happy smile thinking of seeing the show.

"I'll get a large sum of money by next week, and so, I'll treat you to something nice for once," she winked at you as she gave a proud huff.
