Off-collabs don't happen very often nowadays. It wasn't just because of the lockdown and COVID issues that happened but because you felt mentally drained from interacting with others face front. You found it odd how you never ran out of energy interacting with others online or on stream yet so tiring when the person's physical presence was there.
However, you didn't have any more reasons to put off your off-collabs with the other members of Hololive nor did you have any left excuses to avoid your meetings in Cover.
With a groan, you stood up and decided to get ready. Your manager had nagged you all week for this off-collab, after all; you knew more was to come if the member arrived and you were unprepared.
It didn't take long for you to get ready. While you were a bit lazy, you weren't exactly dirty. You had at least the most basic concept of hygiene and being neat.
Moments later, you heard the sound of your doorbell. Sluggishly, you went ahead to greet the member who came for the off-collab.
"Hey," you greeted, formalities no longer needed as you were very much familiar with one another.
With a smirk, the girl gives you a hearty laugh, her blue and white streaks dancing atop her head, and small shoulders swinging up and down.
"WELL DONE PEKO!" She tells as soon as she calms down.
You knew exactly what she wanted to say. 'Well done, you've finally shown yourself for this collaboration.' You thought to yourself.
Pekora was someone energetic and playful on streams. She was much more reserved and polite off-stream though. With you however, the line between those attitudes were blurred.
Before she could speak further, you pulled her in and closed the door. You treated her like a guest, and while you certainly disliked doing off-collabs, you still knew how to treat others well.
You guys did quite the activities that day. From streaming some minecraft, karaoke, and just casually chatting. Pekora didn't stay over for the night either. She apparently lived nearby and was planning to eat dinner with her mother. You didn't stop her of course since, 'why should you'?
Done for the day, you went back to your room. Grabbing your phone, you posted a Tweet about your feelings for the day's stream. Fans and other members replied and conversed with you. You replied to the others before noticing a message.
Looking at the sender's name, you smile and sit up. Opening the message you read, "I saw your collab today. You worked hard. Good job."
Giggling to yourself, you grabbed your pillow and squealed in joy. It's been a while since you've last received a message from this person. You felt lonely about it but you tried not to mind as much knowing how busy she was compared to you.
Suddenly, you hear your doorbell. You weren't expecting anyone today so you became alert. Cautiously, you went out of your room to see who it was through the spyhole. Looking, it was none other than Suisei. She was standing there expectantly, fixing her hair and clothes while she waited for you to open the door.
Immediately, you rushed to open the door, greeting the girl with a big hug. She staggered a bit from your sudden action but reciprocated eventually.
"I missed you," the girl said, hugging you tighter as she took a deep breath in.
"I missed you too. I thought you had a schedule for today?" Asking, worry washes over you, thinking that the girl might've ran into some trouble.
"There's no trouble. Don't worry. It just so happens that my schedule has been cleared. Rescheduling can also be a blessing sometimes."
